After the last Roo, my fiance even bought a pair of Crocs (black). Now this is the guy who is a sound engineer and is on the road all the time with all the tough looking, dressed in black only roadies. Not his style at all but he loves them!

I am thinking about getting some Sanuks, last year i almost wore out the velcro on my adidas slippers. There are some deals on google shopping. I want to find them at a shoe outlet for $30 though.

I went with cheapo $1 flip flops last year with no problem, but I'm trying to think of a plan b for this year. Last year my plan b in case it rained was either rainboots or I think I had my Tevas with me too...but I don't know if I'd really be comfortable walking around in Tevas. I will never put crocs on my feet though, so don't even think about it.

i dont get why everyone thinks crocs are so ugly. But even if they were the most hideuos fucking shoe on the planet i would wear them if they felt good.

I've been seriously considering getting some Kung Fu shoes this year. An elastic canvas outside, extremely lightweight, soft cotton liners and the soles are a pretty durable rubber almost plastic.
I do believe I'm going to break down and buy some crocs... even if they are ugly, I like my feet to breathe. Plus, if everyone else is wearing them, I won't feel so stupid
Crocs is also starting a recycling program with their shoes, Soles United. You can take your shoes to certain drop-off locations or mail them in, and the shoes will be shredded and made into new shoes for the poorest countries. Journeys stores will soon be drop-off locations (sorry, had to represent my company!)
I think I will break down and finally buy Crocs this year - I ended up with a horrific blister last year from my sandals (the same ones I wore the year before with no problems)

I have a couple pairs of crocs and wear them to work and play all the time. Even though there not the best to look at they definitely are comfortable. You should buy some now and have them broke in real nice before ROO.

yeah the only thing about crocs is i HIGHLY recomend wearing socks when breaking them in because during the break in period i've gotten a rather nasty blister on the top of my foot.

sounds like you bought them a size or two too small.
