Got a question about the Sanuks. Do they run true to size? Or do they run big/small? Might order me a pair b/c they are so sweet looking.
Mine were very true to size...I wear a 12, got a 12 are they fit perfectly. But I've read other posts in this thread saying that other styles have been running a little snug. However, a little snug is probably not a bad thing once the canvass gets broken in...it stretches out some for sure.

Guys and gals, Tilly's is having a 50% off sale on Crocs. At least the Cayman's are among the ones on sale (which, admittedly include a lot of kid's shoes and not a lot of adult). Dang it, just noticed that only the brown is on sale for the Cayman's. Well, at least they're cheaper. Not sure how long it lasts, but it's nice that it's early enough that regular shipping should still have them arrive in time for Roo.

Another question about the Sanuks . . . how are they as far as keeping/getting them clean? One of the things my bf likes about his Crocs is that no matter how dirty they get, he wash them off very quickly.
Found that "Rugged Warehouse" the discount liquidation store has Crocs for sale. Limited sizes but Crocs none the less. So if you have one in your city you might want to check it out. They had them on sale for 13.99 in Savannah. Only had the Caymen still tho.

I mean they pick up dirt and mud like any other shoe, but the great thing is they're so light and so simple you can hose them off (or rinse them in the trough, or w/ water at your campsite) and they're dry again in 15 or 20 minutes.
When mine have gotten truly nasty here at home, I just toss them in the washing machine on the rinse cycle...works great!

;D Great arent they? I've been told you can also apply a spray water-proofer to the canvas varieties w/o making them any less comfy or breathable...I'm going to try it when I get my new ones.

I just bought a pair of Keen Newport leather sandals and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.
I was interested in them for their use as an all weather shoe, and I was sold on them due to their hard toe so I can avoid toe damage when I inevitably get stepped on in the concert crowds, but it was a most welcome surprise to find them to be so comfortable.
I tried to get them at REI but they had no size 12s available, however Nordstrom of all places had them ready to go for the lowest price I've seen them in store or online at $95.
As some previous posters have done, I give these the highest possible recommendation for Roo footwear.

Dude, I seriously can't concentrate on anything but bonnaroo right now. . .It's to the point where I'm poking myself in the eye with foreign objects. . . I think I just need to be sedated until Tuesday. . . . Dystopian Dream

I just received my first pair of sanuks for my birthday! I have not taken them off yet... They are the perfect Roo shoe! Minus the fact that i will have a terrible foot tan lol.
I would highly recommend the brand Chaco. If they can survive three months in Nepal, they can survive Bonneroo. They are easy to slip on & tighten, very very comfortable and they have a solid sole. A little heavy for a sandal but worth it.

i tried to sleep in my crocs one night but it didnt work. im sure enough alcohol would fix that problem though. its strange how wide they are o.O also its wierd that they use the same models for men and women
^^^ I think that's why I find the crocs so comfy. I have big, wide feet, so it's kind of nice. I just got a pair of "mocks" for bonnaroo. Been using the excuse that I'm "breaking them in" as to why I'm wearing them everywhere but work. Yeah, they are ugly as fuck, but damn they are comfortable!

I just got my sanuks a few days ago. While I really like them and will probably wear them all summer outside of work i do have a few complaints. The toes were very tight at first. After a couple of days that has gotten better though, but make sure you break them in before you head to the farm. Another thing that bothers me is the logo right under my heel; there's really no reason for it and just detracts from the comfort. Finally, I would not recommend driving in these. I drove ~140 miles a couple days ago and it really hurt my heel (the elastic).

The last two years I have brought a pair of extremely broken in Vans canvas slip-ons and a a pair of Reef flip flops. I never had any problems with the flip flops. The Vans, however, separated from the sole. This was because they were VERY broken in, with holes all over them from 2 years of use in all weather conditions without socks.
I will once again be bringing a pair of Reef flip flops and a pair of canvas Vans because I don't want to have to go out and buy a "Roo only" shoe. This way I can wear these shoes year round and not be seen in Crocs.

My Sanuks are awesome. They were snug at first but loosened up nicely. I definitely recommend some sort of foot powder though, they can get a little funky after wearing them all day. Super comfy though. I wear them to work and I feel like I'm on vacation. Now if they will only let me wear my flannel pajama pants to work I'll be all set.
Sanuks will be my #1 footwear for Bonnaroo, but I will be bringing my flip flops (required by law for people who reside in Florida) and a pair of mud boots.
again thanks for the sanuk info...I believe I will be owning a pair of these for the rest of my days.
