Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'm going regardless but there should be some more great bands and artists announced in the coming weeks. Who would you like to see added to the lineup.
Personally:
Pearl Jam (never happen) Ben Harper Neil Young Jack Johnson Flaming Lips Dinosaur Jr. Arcade Fire Kings of Leon Jack Johnson Willie Nelson Wilco Secret Machines Ween Franz Ferdinand Sigur Ros Mogwai Sleater-Kinney Sonic Youth Les Claypool (any involvement) Buckethead (any involvement) Mudhoney Thievary Corporation Eels Postal Service Porcupine Tree Iron & Wine
Hip-Hop Jurassic 5 - New album complete. coming soon Blackalicious Talib Kweli Saul Williams
Alternative White Stripes Interpol Modest Mouse Yo La Tengo Flaming Lips
Other:
Allman Brothers - good jam band that everyone would be happy with FOUR TET - best DJ (if you want to call him that) in the world DJ Danger Mouse - good remixes A Silver Mt. Zion - awesome experimental. In the footsteps of Godspeed. Keller Williams - incredible. guaranteed crowd pleaser DMB - put on great concerts, but they tour all the fucking time, so you can see them anywhere. Beta Band - interesting to see them live Ben Harper - would have to be a main act. probably can't fit him in this year.
i dont know this current initial line up is sick. no comlaints.
In reality I think these have a great chance of being added and if any of them do it would make me very happy:
Ben Harper - New double album coming out Flaming Lips - New Album coming out Dinosaur Jr. - reformed, new album Secret Machines - New Album coming out Sigur Ros - New Album Mogwai - New Album coming out Les Claypool - Always doing something!

Galactic Umphrey's Mcgee Disco Biscuits STS9 The Duo Widepsread Panic (would be nice but is not happening) Ozomatli Keller Williams Les Claypool (I don't see a trey band on their so here's hoping for oysterhead) Muse Mars Volta Allman Brothers Band Jurassic 5 Saul Williams ALO Steve Kimock Band Greyboy Allstars OR Karl Denson's Tiny Universe Railroad Earth New Monsoon Michael Franti Particle Garaj Mahal
and I hate to be not a very nice person, but I really hope there will be no incarnation of dave mathews, because no matter what he brings i won't like it and it'll be a headliner and i dont want nothing to do for 4 hours
The Benevento/Russo Duo are coming out with a new album (Play, Pause, Stop), and given their incredible set last year I bet we will see them added to the line-up.

DMB or Dave in some whay Trey Allmans Gov't Mule Ben Harper Jack Johnson Black Crowes O.A.R. Assembly of Dust Perpetural Groove String Cheese Bob Dylan Willie Nelson Norah Jones String Cheese Incident Keller Williams The Dead More Big name acts and less smaller names for the tents, and MORE JAMBANDS and Less bands like Petty and Radiohead.
Ben Harper - New double album coming out Flaming Lips - New Album coming out Dinosaur Jr. - reformed, new album Secret Machines - New Album coming out Sigur Ros - New Album Mogwai - New Album coming out Les Claypool - Always doing something!
Those seem like logical assumpsions. I am banking on Ben Harper as the big name in the 1st add on with one of two bands that will most likely play late night and a band or two that would fall under "jamband"

Karl Denson's Tiny Universe - (One of the best live shows I've ever seen) Ben Harper Allman Brothers Iron & Wine Ray LaMontagne Xavier Rudd (Highlight of 'roo 05 for me) Keller Williams J5 or The Roots RJD2 De La Soul Toots Amos Lee The Dead Gov't Mule Norah Jones Dylan
If Wilco aren't added, it wouldn't surprise me if Loose Fur are.
They're Tweedy's side project with drummer Glenn Kotche and super producer/artist Jim O'Rourke. Their new album for '06 has already leaked and is pretty solid after a couple of listens. I might be wrong, but I don't think they've ever performed together as Loose Fur before.
I'd work on getting it to you man, but I'm at work and stuck on a dial up at home. All my real downloading is done up at the flippin local Panera or at hotels. If you're a torrent man, you might want to check over at mininova.org -- I know it was up there a couple weeks back.

Am I the only one here who thinks that Ween really needs to be on this lineup? Les would be great as well ditto to The Flaming Lips, Greyboy Allstars and Yo la Tengo And when is Willie gona make up for missing 2004 (I know he had surgery, but he really needs to make it out there)
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

It looks like pretty much everythings covered, tv on the radio and ween definatly need to be attending. The decemberist would be an awesome afternoon set i think, real chill, something you can go and relax and enjoy, maybe iron and wines spot from last year.

I'm in no position to complain. This is without question the best Bonnaroo line up ever, but if I had my druthers...
Wilco (or Loose Fur or Uncle Tupelo Reunion) Ryan Adams and the Cardinals (Three albums last year and yet still no trip to the Roo) The Hold Steady (A Perfect Fit for the festival) Willie Nelson Arcade Fire Joni Mitchell (Hey...can a man dream?) Toots and the Maytalls or The Wailers The Flaming Lips (although I'll catch them at Langerado) Bob Dylan The Streets (touring the US this summer...I think this is a real possibility) Wolf Parade Arctic Monkeys The New Pornographers (PLEASE) The Decemberists Neil Young Groovatron Iron and Wine Little Brother Edan
I think all of these festivals are really struggling to have their own identity. You'll notice that there are very few overlapping bands from festival to festival (Langerado, Coachella, Wakarusa, Bonnaroo).
the arcade fire lyrics born common blackalicious j-5 signal path (pleeeeaaaaassssseeeeeeee.) sufjan stevens perpetual groove ben harper claypool in any form dmb (i know... go ahead, shoot me now, been a fan for way too long to not include him in here) keller allmans (last year was love) umphrey's secret machines galactic ozomatli particle lyrics born
i don't have any desire to see trey this year. i was very disappointed with last year and don't intend on seeing anything trey-related unless there is ever a phish reunion. i also wouldnt mind if jack johnson never showed up at another bonnaroo ever again.
postal service won't do something like roo (maybe a little sneak or something but not a full set) sigur ros likes intimate venues... doubt we'll see them there, unfortunately
more hip hop and jammy stuff please! i'm very happy with the lineup right now, but i'd love to see something else in there.
