Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Yeah, another thread talks about PJ cancelling their appearance at a festival in Holland because one of the members has a baby due at the end of May. This might preclude the possibility of PJ anywhere in June altogether...
That Poland gig was quite a buzz kill, pretty dissapointing yeah. Yet looking at the PJ message board, a lot of the posters are still listing Bonnaroo and hoping for a southern tour. I figure if they haven't given up hope neither should I. I'll still be hoping for another 8 days or something.

AC and superfly are doing a hell of a lot better job of keeping the line-up a secret this year than last......unless the leaked schedule is 100% correct then the above statement will be rendered false
What is up with the thread on Official Lineup? There are a lot of bands who have their names incorrect. It looks like they tried to fix some of them, but ekoostik hookah is spelled wrong also. I am not buying it. In addition ekoostik hookah is in California on the 15th and 16th of June.
If the Official Lineup thread was about a genuine email from Superfly, why didn't it mention when tickets go on sale? It seems to me they would want us to know exactly when to get our credit cards out.
it was just the prelim email sent to the cleanvibes list, i was gonna volunteer. we already have tickets. knoxville is gonna feel silly after my lineup gets confirmed.

nol, if that's how you got it, my guess is some guy set up an official looking email account and got into the list to send that out. I'm surprised you're not more skeptical - I mean look at how many bands are misspelled and confirmed artists aren't even on there? It's so amateurish, it's not even funny.
Yeah Nol, no offense dude, but when you spell Robert Randolph like Gandalf, this may be a sign. That and Jurassic 5 is also misspelled. Plus some have mentioned some date conflicts... I think someone may be messing with you. You have over 500 posts so I don't think you are trying to pull one over on us, just perhaps misguided.
Nope , will not feel silly at all. There are already threads out there for guesses. And with all the mispellings plus it still states it is a 3 day festival when they have officially made it a 4 day festival. There was no way this can be deemed credible (yet). If it is true then I can unlock the thread, and all will be right with the world.
OK here goes my speculations. IMO the email that nol13 recieved is probably right on or real close to the actual thing. It seems much more "Rooish" than that Coachella looking hipster lineup that was suposedly leaked by the Manchester Times. It might not be 100% completed a few things look slightly off but there are possible reasons for that. Radiohead back again? Could they have loved playing roo so much they wanted to return? Police? Im sure copeland told the band how much fun he had playing with Oysterhead. WP is due back, like em or not they are a huge piece of Bonnaroos success. All the other bands listed look right to me. (first KWI since the 1st Roo!) And remember just cause you dont see your wish on there yet it's only around half of the bands TBA.
its like we are trapped on an island with no roo info and some of us are starting to snap and go insane. id say this one is more obvious its not real then the last one. but i like this one better. a week from today and we should be good. hopefully we will all make it.

I'm ready for my beating now.
Thinks knoxville knows more than he can say.
I agree that it is more Rooish and tbh it is more like the list I would like to see

i dont see the reason for locking it in the first place, just becasue you now have super mod powers doesnt mean you have to use them
1. Several Bands were not spelled right (I'm sure AC and Superfly do not have Spellcheck) 2. It stated it was a 3 day festival, mabye they just forgot about the extra day????? 3. Considering 1 and 2 it is no better than Wiki
Our job, among other things, is to keep the board as clean as possible. There was already a place for your post "The second annual guess the lineup game" thread.
As for my super mod powers comment...............I guess I just can't handle the power (that would be the 2nd or 3rd time I have ever used them) It's nothing personal dude. Relax.
To be fair I'm not sure Superfly has said it will be a 4day fest. Yes the dates are different than every other year but they might just be using that to their adavntage. Because there has always been music on Thurday just never labeled as part of the fest.
We’re excited to announce that the sixth annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is confirmed to take place June 14 - 17, 2007. The four-day camping and music festival will once again be held on the same beautiful, 700-acre farm in Manchester, TN, 60 miles southeast of Nashville.

wasnt thursday music an 05 addition??? i dont remember music on thursday in o4. of course i was out of my mind and lost for the whole night.
There were a few bands playing Thursday night in '03 and '04. I wasn't there in '03, but I did catch most of Peelander-Z in '04, which was an awesome thing to behold. Japanese Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers playing super hard noise metal with audience participation... now that I think about it, if you were that wasted it's probably good you weren't there.
ya that would have been interesting to wander up to in my state of mind. wish i would have. our map was ruined in the fountain and we spent the whole night trying to find camp based on where it should be in relation to the giant flying purple octopus.

Oh god yes -- my first show on my first year -- what a way to start things off!
Edit: I dunno how many of you remember, but an Inforoo poster from back in 2004 (can't recall his name) wore bunny ears for much of the festival. I have vivid memories of Peelander Z on stage in all their technicolor wonder and bunny ear dude prancing around me in a state of complete ecstasy. You don't forget a moment like that.
My first set at my first Roo was Signal Path in '05. I'd never heard of teh before but it's probably the set I listen to most now (after the Frames). I kinda like the gentle start of the Thursday night but, if it has to be four full days, I won't complain.
i'm a radiohead and coldplay fan..but i'm saying as for on a national level, coldplay is probably bigger...they appeal to everyone. but no doubt everyone here is going to like radiohead more.
colplay's three albums combined have sold over 30 million copies radiohead's six albums only 17 million.
so commercially..coldplay has more success. that DOES NOT make them better and i am NOT saying that so please don't misconstrue what i'm saying!! just stating the obvious!
festival wise, YES radiohead is probably bigger and for some reason i don't see coldplay doing a festival even though they have in the past. i think they would have more success doing their own tours because they are so popular.
but i love them both! and i happen to own more radiohead albums than coldplay (3 vs 1)
oh no, no, i know you didn't mean that they were better - how could anyone truly believe that? but seriously, i know that radiohead has a HUGE japanese following; they even release stuff strictly for japanese fans. i was just curious - how big of a following does coldplay have internationally in compairison to rh? they may have sold more albums, but again, i don't see coldplay being all that relevant years from now. i think radiohead has made a bigger mark in music history, which i guess is what i meant in the beginning.
