Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Yeah...so far everything's been along the lines of, "we're getting together for a tour that includes North America, and we aren't playing Glastonbury and Coachella." People take it as maybe they're leaving out Bonnaroo on purpose or maybe they're just not playing festivals and didn't feel it necessary to mention bonnaroo.
I don't think it means anything either way Dude. I think it just means they won't be playing either of those festies. I have been thinking Police for the other signs > 1 - No PJ, who else could they get to turn heads and not fall behind Coachella? > 2 - Why move the date for the announcement two weeks back when they haven't changed the date of the festival at all?
I also don't think Pearl Jam just cancelled, which would've delayed the lineup announcement. For PJ to have booked so many festivals, you would think they'd done it well ahead of time.
My only doubts are that they're too big or that the delay was because they are scrambling for a headliner. Who knows?
Okay so when I first heard rumors about the police playing at bonnaroo i was pretty much indifferent..like oh they're a milestone band it would be good to see them. i'm not one to listen to the police on a daily basis or anything..i actually didn't even have any police on itunes...well so just now i went on a downloading spree and downloaded message in a bottle and every little thing she does and roxanne and their hits...and wow!! i could just imagine those songs LIVE and it would be sooooooo awesome.
so now i really am excited about the police and if they aren't there, i'm going to be so disappointed!!!
so if you haven't listened to the police recently...don't, it will just make you want them more!
just thought of that while i was listening to message in a bottle (i'm a huge loser i should be asleep at 2:36 am!!)

For any naysayers or people who havn't heard the police check out their album Live!, it has two shows, one from the begining of their career, and one from their last tour. Both are quality, and a good way to get into them.

I can't imagine The Police even getting through a 30 minute set without somebody storming off stage.
I'm hoping both The Flaming Lips and The Mars Volta play this year. The Flips are obviously big fetival goers and TMV seem to like working with Superfly. On top of that both their schedules allow it to happen. I think there's a much better chance of TMV being there though.
I'm still crossing my fingers for Tom Waits. I can't even imagine what it would be like seeing him at a roo. I feel for him, outdoor venues suck. I do think however that he would love and embrace Bonnaroo. Would also be nice to see him be less of a baby and step away from the great acoustics of ampitheatres. You know, please his cult fans who are willing to travel cross country but can't even get tickets before they sell out in these tiny places.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!

if the police tickets do go on sale before the 14th, buy them. and you know that this is a huge reunion. you can always sell the tickets for triple what it's worth.

yeah i think a world tour is definitely instore. I have been a bit skeptical about the Police being at bonnaroo but with that announcement being awfully close to bonnaroo's initial lineup announcement i don't think it is by coincidence. We might know about the Police Feb. 12.
