With the help of some doses of the Dr. Hoffman special I was able to fully explore the land of Amputechture one time and man it was beautiful. Love that album thoroughly. I just got Calibration and the jury is out still on it but I'm sure I"ll end up loving it too. Every Volta album for ME is a classic.

I spent my first quality time with The Bedlam in Goliath, a pair of headphones, and a certain mind expanding veggie pizza topping last week.
Woo boy.
I just can't get enough of what they're selling. No matter if their new music is extra weird or straight ahead, you can feel the artistry every time you listen to them. I guess I speak for myself on that one. But....I just love them. These April shows can't get here quick enough for me.
And then hopefully a nice follow-up show at Bonnaroo in June.
Does TMV play any of their old At The Drive-In stuff? Not as big a fan of TMV stuff, but never got to see Drive-In and would love to hear the songs live!

I second that. Also I saw ATDI which was lucky because I only marginally knew of them through a friend I was there for Rage, but they blew me away and had me captivated. R.I.P. A.T.D.I. Long Live Volta

Hopefully we'll get something on Wednesday. It will have been two weeks since the initial announcement. I pray that the Volta will be on there...if they're not, I guess it doesn't look good. I would say that The New York Times and Jambase ought to be right, but we've already seen Black Kids taken off the list...

I wouldn't fret. I think The Mars Volta might announce their Bonnaroo date when they announce more of their U.S tour dates.

If they were to play this year, would they be a Which Stage afternoon closer, Which Stage late night, or a late night tent?
I'd prefer to see them in a tent late night, but I'd imagine they'd close out a day of shows on the Which Stage (before the headliner.)
last time they were late night in a tent. i imagine if they are there, they will be in the same slot. i really can't see them playing during the day, because they would get less than 2 hr.
