^Also, with us (most likely) getting a 5 or 6 piece, as opposed to the 8 of recent years, I think we can knock out most of Amp and Bedlam. Adrian is believed to not be on the tour (sax), but, it's mere speculation at this point.
So, I'd expect a mess of new stuff, some old stuff (where no sax is necessary), and some more concentrated jamming.

Just listened to the album for the first time. Its ok, probably the weakest of their albums. Then again Volta albums usually take awhile to grow on me so I will probably dig it alot more after I listen to it a few more times.

Yeah, I think I prefer Bedlam and Amputechture because they both have atleast a few great classic songs that really stand out. On first listen Ochtehdron lacks that for me. Im really digging a few tracks but there is nothing that really stands out to me asides from "With Twilight As My Guide" which I think is the highlight of the album. That being said this album probably has the best flow of anything they have put out and doesn't really suffer from any self indulgence.

so uhh..... This album is fucking great! I never thought I would say this but the slower, melodic tunes really work good for the band. They sound focused. The songs seems to be getting even more catchier and accessible but man does it sound good!

they have had one great slow song on every album. i'm glad they finally made an album pretty much full of it. and you know it's only for one album, tmv doesn't stay in the same place for too long.

Yea I know what you mean. I kept finding myself ready to start headbanging during songs like "Halo" and right when it built up....it just slowed back down, awesome and unexpected.

Seriously yo, its time for you to make the jump to lightspeed, so to speak, and get on the bit torrent wagon. Just download Vuze and go to any torrent site. The album was up on all of them within 15mins this morning. If you want more info on how its done just pm me. Id be glad to introduce you to the lovely world of torrents.
I think @ my house I have azureas a torrent program, I know how to use it but in comparison to megaupload and rapidshare ,torrents aint got s h i t, but thanks anyways
