Trey, Mike and the Duo leaked onto the AT&T Blueroom site last year the night before I left last year. Has the Superjam lineup ever leaked before that prior to the fest? Friday latenight is causing some major conflict issues with my group and it'd clear so much up to know who it'll be.

i think it might be safe to say that the Superjam that we have gotten to know in the past might be done.....i think that the TBD is just that, To Be Determined, just like last year when it was GRAB....

I know I'm not the first to suggest this, but if they were to assemble a SuperJam that wasn't actually jamband-oriented, that would be very, very exciting. I could see an assembly of hip-hop, jazz, indie, experimental, and electronic artists up there doing something very strange and very wonderful. It would add new emphasis to the idea of a unique performance.

I think Sasha+Digweed should be invovled...
I would LOVE to see something totally different than we see usually. Something with, as you said, some of the electronic and jazz artists would totally blow people away... I know Tortoise can go out there, and so can Ornette Coleman... Just throw in something like DJ Shadow to throw it off balance and send it into overdrive. The possibilities are limitless.

Agreed. Last year's "superjam" was fantastic, but it wasn't really a superjam. It was a last minute band addition. Bonnaroo was basically just the first show of the GRAB tour.

I'm thinking the same as most people. This "superjam" is just going to be a mindblowing artist addition that was never released. Should be a good one, I'm definitely putting at the top of my priority at the beginning just to check it out to see who's there, then i'll decide if I go anywhere else.
Give me a Jim James and Friends "superjam." I really don't think that TBD is gonna be jam oriented (though i'm prepared to be wrong). There's already so much of that going on Friday night, what with SCI and STS9. It probably won't be Jim, but damn if it was...I'd totally forget the fact that Bonnaroo didn't bring back the world's greatest rock n' roll band (My Morning Jacket) this year.

I think TBD will infact be a band, like last year. Every year its been an actual superjam, they label it as so. And i think if they have a superband that wasnt jam oriented they wouldnt be able to fill that time slot. Definatly curious what band it will be this year though.

I think it will be an ensemble band that doesnt tour much, like last year. Maybe we'll get a Word set, Robert Randolphs supposed to be there somewhere, and hes the only one missing i believe.

well, the only evidence we have of randolph is him yelling "see ya'll at roo" at shows. maybe hes just actually going and not performing this year. i know id be pumped if i were goin' to roo. oh wait, i am ;D

I'm speculating that it's either MMJ, Jim James along with other artists, Mars Volta, or potentially Bob Dylan. Can't really back up my Dylan theory with anything other than the fact that I heard lots of speculation earlier that he was supposed to be a headliner and he never even made it to the artist list. I think since last time he was "just an addition" (not to discredit him at all) it'd be appropriate if this year he was a surprise appearance.
Really, if any of my guesses are correct I'd be willing to dig a whole where I was standing after the set and bury myself a happy camper.
