I just want to mention that the comment that's under the article now is mine! It's also funny because I had written that Vashti Bunyan plays guitar, not sitar, but instead they removed that part and edited their article so it says "Vashti Bunyan strumming next to Marilyn Manson" instead of "... sitaring next to...". At least they are willing to listen to others.

The Eagles (not headlining) Robert Plant and Alison Krauss My Morning Jacket B.B. King The Mars Volta Willie Nelson Ornette Coleman Chuck Berry Marilyn Manson Umphrey’s McGee A Tribe Called Quest Lynyrd Skynyrd George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic Lee “Scratch” Perry The Shins Sonic Youth DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist Page McConnell Ministry Femi Kuti Shpongle The Polyphonic Spree Disco Biscuits Counting Crows Cat Power & Dirty Delta Blues Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Iron & Wine Yonder Mountain String Band Benevento-Russo Duo Girl Talk Arrested Development Grace Potter and the Nocturnals John Zorn Blind Melon Cake Lotus Leftover Salmon Super Furry Animals Ghostland Observatory Deltron 3030 Col. Bruce & the Quark Alliance Saul Williams The New Deal Infected Mushroom State Radio EOTO Avett Brothers GWAR Black Moth Super Rainbow Lez Zeppelin
Disregarding that this is a fake, I would absolutely love to see Return to Forever, The Mars Volta, George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, The Shins, Sonic Youth, DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist, Neko Case, Shpongle, The Polyphonic Spree, Cat Power, Iron & Wine, Girl Talk, Cake, Super Furry Animals, The Magnetic Fields, Infected Mushroom, and of Montreal.
And GWAR and Dragonforce would be absolutely ridiculous. Maybe completely improper, but absolutely ridiculous, in all the right ways.
The Killers are too far down the list. They're kind of big, in my book. Bone Thugs? Yeah, right. Marylin Manson? LOL. I'd love to see a lot of those people though - Shpongle, Benevento-Russo Duo, MMJ, TMV (New album leaked, by the way).
I hope half of that line-up is real.
If Coldplay made their way back on another US Tour, it would have been heard by now. They are HUGE!
This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.

Well I for one think its true, everyone here is bashing the lineup, but i'll put money down that bonnaroo posts it any day now......
yea not really though, anyone in their right mind, actually if they aren't in their right mind, you should be able to tell that this is bull shit, no matter what. i think i'm going to start working on a fake lineup that people will actually believe. i mean whats up with the headliners, i'd rather see widespread headline all three nights, over these guys.

Why would they have The Word and not Robert Randolph or NMA? Is Robert Randolph available but the rest of the Family Band is booked? I join those calling BS.
if marilyn manson is there please give me black label society too
ugh, BLS is without a doubt the most un-entertaining band I've ever seen. I've seen them 4 times, and I honestly fell asleep during 2 of those sets. If you've seen them once, you've seen them a thousand times.
"Yes Zakk, I know...you can play with your teeth. Yes Zakk, I know, you can play over your head too. Thanks for the effort."

hey now, im going to see manson in about...20 minutes
i've said this before - he is an entertainer - you would be dead inside to not at least appreciate his stage presence.
i agree on this probably being a fake, but one note about manson being there. Since Bonaroo is a Music and Arts festival maybe they could be expanding on the art aspect of the festival and might have him there not as a musical artist but as the other kind of artist. He does do some pretty trippy artwork.
Just a thought.
i still don't think there is any way Manson will ever be at Roo unless he decides to come and camp out with us.
sorry if i'm wrong. i didn't realize that TRIBE toured in 2006. and i thought that the "reunion" in 2007 was for the Hip-Hop Honors show only......
however, wikipedia is NEVER a reliable source for info. i don't trust it. and i do not see any proof on their website or myspace that the reunion is permanent.
i saw TRIBE at Lollapalooza way back in the 90's. they are one of the best Hip-Hop groups EVER and i would love to see them anytime anywhere!
are you guys serious?? this is the most bogus crap i've seen in along time.....gwar...c'mon now....no chance...long live bonnaroo!! and thats it...BONNAROO...not fantasy fest!!!

That would be amazing! Only time I ever saw them it was on Easter Sunday (also on 4/20) in Peoria, IL. Their website never listed the show but I have a ticket and drumstick to prove it! ;D

I knew this chick who saw them one year there... said they played into the dusk... sounds awesome. BTW, love Ministry, but not at Roo.
