I remember Television playing shows within the last few years, but I could be mistaken. And Maynard mentioned that APC would probably end up getting back together, I don't know where the source is.

I think Springsteen and Dave Matthews will be there. I'm also expecting The Flaming Lips to return touring their new album. Other than that, there isn't much I'm very sure about.

i don't see the dead playing for a lot of reasons... Phil lesh is doing way too well with jackie greene and larry campbell to work with bob weir i think (in no way is that supposed to be disrespectful to weir).
But is the Arcade Fire still doing their thing with Bowie now? I thought that was a one time deal while the arcade fire were touring. If so they could use Bowie to get headine spot, but otherwise they could do a What stage afternoon set or latenight at most I think. I think them doing a late night kinda like Sigur Ros did this year would be beautiful.
And Pavement and Blur aren't options at all haha. Sadly, though they were splendid while they lasted... "Sigh"
I'd love to see either The Flips or MMJ headline Sunday. They've both earned it and I think that among the Bonnaroo crowd they are big enough to be able to handle that slot.
I'm putting my money on Styx, Rush, and Miley Cyrus as headliners.
that would be awesome...you know. aside from Miley. Although she does make my pedo senses tingle, but thats a completely different story. I'll just take Styx and Rush though.
I was actually joking about all of those. In my opinion, Miley Cyrus is nothing more than an overrated pre-teen money machine. She sends a positive message to kids while also being physically attractive to older people. If you think Roo is bad now, try to imagine it with her headlining! All these 10-year old boys and girls running around wearing her t-shirt.
As for Styx and Rush - not my thing. I prefer to stick to more modern artists who are still somewhat in their prime, and I wish Superfly would do the same. At least keep it to bands that peaked in the 90s! (I am not criticizing Styx's and Rush's musical talent)

My opinion: Miley Cyus = self explanatory. However, I can't help but find some masochistic humor in her music. Like it's so bad it's hilarious, in a wanna-pull-my-hair-out-then-beat-my-head-against-the-cement kind of way. STYX - Pretty damned horrible. Easily one of my least favorite bands... ever. Rush - Pretty damned good.

Well, I'm not sure why you stuck Rush in with 2 horrible acts. They still play 3 hour shows without breaking a sweat. Although they are not in their prime, neither are many of the acts mentioned in this thread. They have quite a bit of drawing power, plus they still put out great albums. So why not? They'd sure as hell be better than a PF or Zep reunion. (and I'm a huge PF and Zep Fan.)

bring the beatsie boys! me an dmy friend were talking about how sick it would be if they were there when they put on a beastie song before kanye. that was the highlight of kanye for me because i left shortly after.
I think Beastie Boys would put on a better show and float the 'Roo crowd's boat better than Jay-Z. Not to say I don't think Jay-Z would put on a good show. I just don't think he should headline
