That would go over great with me as long as they stayed away from the god awful latest Red Album. I love their style, but their albums are pretty hit or miss. For instance, Pinkerton is one of my favorite albums of the 90's, and so is the Blue Album, but there are a couple that are just very... blah.
I'm sure there would be quite the backlash if they were booked, but not from me.
I heard not once, but twice that Bruce Springsteen and Van Morrison were backstage at Bonnaroo this year. The first time was from one of the security guys at the Super Jam show and the other I overheard a couple people talking in the press area.Not sure how true it is, but I wouldn't doubt they were there and maybe even being courted to play for next year.
I had to go back to this since Springsteen actually happened. I have to make sure to keep my ears stay sharp ahain this year
