I think that IF (heavy emphasis on this word) the ABB don't play it should just be "Mr. Haynes & Friends"
Warren Haynes Derek Trucks Phil Lesh Jim James ?uestlove
with special appearances by:
Robert Plant Jack White BB King ..and maybe even some intermission stand up by Zack Galifianakis (similar to Black during Mule last year, only sans water bottle tossing)

I hope he gets better and all but IF they cancel roo . I think it will be down to the Bonnaroo regulars to save the day.
First replacement would be home town boys “Kinds of Leon”! Second “Dave Matthews” he has a tour break over Bonnaroo.
kings of leon better play regardless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully in a tent, this year. After last year's major disappointment (atleast in my opinion...) I came to the realization that they just aren't a big stage kind of band. The only time anyone in the band ever moved was when they were switching equipment...
well with all that is happening, it is looking like it was a smart move on mypart not to go to roo this year. tmv falls through. abb may not play. and i'm getting to see my other 2 big draws, pearl jam and plant/krauss at their own shows. but for the people that are going this year sake, i hope abb's play.

I originally agreed with you until I saw them again at Lollaplooza and they were great. KOL, MMJ and Pearl Jam back to back to back made the weekend.
i for one am hoping that they do take bonnaroo off and rest for the summer tour. He's getting up there and if its this bad that they cancel performances at their own festival and their beacon run, id rather see them rest up for the summer tour then have to travel for one show. and they should be replaced with primus, gov't mule or maybe some leftover salmon. or maybe how about moe.???
I think they'll still be there ..... but it really sucks for the folks going to Wanee. The whole point of that festival is getting to see two unique ABB shows.
"The band will return in June for a slot at Manchester, TN's Bonnaroo Festival, and then hit the road for a 12-date tour in August. The first two dates of the August outing have been announced, with shows in Mansfield, MA (8/16) and Camden, NJ (8/23)".
