"Currently, treatment consists of taking two medications: injections of a "drug" called interferon and pills called ribavirin. This is called combination therapy. A usual treatment schedule involves injecting interferon one to three times a week, and taking the ribavirin pills two times per day.
Interferon may have a number of side effects including flu-like symptoms including headaches, fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, depression and thinning of hair."

just read the news im glad to hear it.
all the Kings of Leon guys dont they play in Scotland or something like that for the dates that Roo is going on? It sucks I know. I would like Arctic Monkeys and Cold War Kids in though, both of them would shoot up my list of bands to see (top 10 that is).
Posted by Sassbox! on Yesterday at 12:29pm I'm a fan and even I will admit that the last time I saw them they seemed tired. Maybe it's time for Gregg to just rest. He really seemed like an old man...it made me sad.
...Yeah I know what you mean, I don't like seeing Greg Allman getting old either. Most of the great rockstars just don't seem to get old like this. They die young or retire earlier, or just don't age as bad. Bob Dylan looks like he's in much worse shape though. I'd really hate to see another one of my favorite musicians go out like Warren Zevon did.
Good news to hear about ABB being at Bonnaroo. Sad to know they will not be at Wanee this year, but it is for the best for Gregg. Get well Gregg, we all love you man.
Will be hard pressed for me not to be at ABB's show at Roo.
that's a huge relief. ABB was crucial in me giving roo the benefit of the doubt and going this year despite the crummy headliner announcement. i was about to get worried....
Dave subbing for ABB? glad this whole thing resolved itself before the absurdity of that idea had to be discussed...
