Maybe some HORSE the Band and Between the Buried and Me?
BAH! BTBAM would be incredible. Even my best friend (who hates everything about the music I enjoy) absolutely loves them because of their jazz influence, especially on their new CD.
Fleet Foxes....if not added this year. That EP is great!
I met them! They came to the grocery store I work at. I did not have a clue who they were, but a co-worker said "those guys are in a band." So I went out to the parking lot where they were sitting in their van eating the munchies they bought and like a complete dork asked "Are you in a band?" They said "Yes, but you will have never heard of us." Fleet Foxes. Really nice guys. Would be a good Bonnaroo addition

I will second the Opeth prediction. I was really hoping that they would be added this year but oh well. This band is tattooed on my arm...I envision an entire acoustic set with a focus on Damnation and other acoustic songs. They will probably play only 1 or 2 heavy songs though. This band really breaks the mold on what is considered "metal." The best adjective I could use to describe them is bi-polar, which is primarily why they are my all time favorite band haha. The perfect blend of all that is light and darkness and a true meeting of heaven and hell. To put it in terms that most rooers can understand, Mikael Akerfeldt is the Jerry Garcia, the David Byrne, the Maynard James Keenan, the Wayne Coyne, the Warren Haynes, the Trey, ect. of "Heavy Metal." If it wasn't for their music, I can truly say I would have been dead, laying in a gutter somewhere 6-7 years ago. It's good to know fans of them are on this board. Opeth deserves to be heard and play at Bonnaroo.

I am glad my Opeth prediction is well received around here. I just think they would be perfect on the farm, late night (my wish), and with the vibes that is roo around me. Yes, a few of the albums are really heavy/aggressive, but just imagine a more metal sounding Tool and that is who these guys are. I just think many music lovers would be pleasantly surprised by these guys and do yourselves a favor and check out a few albums.
I am also going to predict that Aphex Twin and Portishead will be on the farm next year. I just want to hear "Machine Gun" played live off the new Portishead album
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
We are all sad about Zeppelin not coming. But instead of getting Zep we got metallica, that is what irks me the most
I'm not a fan of metallica, to say the least.
I second that. [rant]Not only was I convinced Roo was gonna get Zeppelin this year, but then the lineup comes out with Metallica, one of two bands I have ever said I HATED (the other being ICP) Boo. I'm way pumped for Roo, and will not be convinced that some other Zeppelin surprise will happen until I leave Sunday night (I've had reoccurring dreams that in the middle of Superjam Jimmy Page walks out... I then pass out from shear excitement and my boyfriend has to hold me up the rest of the set because my knees don't work anymore haha) I really wanted Zep to be there because if they do a world tour, I'll try my best to get tickets but those things are gonna go insanely quick and who knows if everyone who wants them will get them... if they played Roo I'd be guaranteed a ticket. [/rant]
anywayssss see you all in Tennessee! and for 09 I think they need to get Blue Man Group... call me dumb, but go look up their live shows on Youtube and tell me that wouldn't be an awesome late night sensory explosion
i saw kmfdm on a summer tour in 01....f***ing awesome! that would be sick to see kapn k on the farm. Opeth would be insane as well.....perhaps blacklight burns or nin...what about mc chris??????
There's not a thing worth remembering When tomorrow can bring someone new Get used to the thought You can't be what you're not Life has already got plans for you
That would be a great show. Also Opeth would be interesting...I think they should have a full set of the cd "Damnation", just because it's acoustic. Then have a little bit of some heavier songs.

She Wants Revenge would a fucking awesome time. Are they even still together? I have no idea, come to think of it. If not, a reunion show at Roo would be awesome
The Melvins Fugazi Reunion (will never happen) FNM reunion (possible, but unlikely) Mr Bungle reunion (see above) SC3 Estradasphere Dengue Fever Tribe Called Quest ZZ Top Kronos Quartet (I can dream) Skeleton Key Banyan Dos All The Descendents Bakerton Group Helmet (even the current incarnation) Eyvind Kang (any which way) Danger Doom DJ Krush -This could go on for a quite some time-

^^Ahh... well that seems much more possible and easier on my bank account then. And yeah, I wouldn't complain either if they were all there until I realized I couldn't afford to go. Then I would just be pissed
and I have no idea what ayds means... but word !!!
