You mentioned shouldnt people be worried about the things that happened.
I think about this all the time. Most people dont really seem to concered. Questions rarely get asked. If I was on that island I would be all like what happened, tell me everything, what about this blah blah....seems like people ask a question, get a don't worry about it and then they go OK and move along. People don't communicate to well with each other.
I loved that notebook thing. That was a TON of notebooks. Very cool tie to the 2nd hatch. So what were those people even there for or did someone just stop getting the notebooks.
I think "Henry" is the leader. The way he walked and talked on the dock. He is difenitly in chrage. I think he is the "he" he told John about in the hatch. Did anyone catch the name on the dock? I could see pala then 1 letter.
Locke and Ecko cannot be dead, but the hatch did get blown, the door was sent flying to the camp. Guess we wait and wonder.
I just finally watched it. Well I was wrong about the boat. I forgot all about Desmond. But I guess that's the point, isn't it. Does seem wierd that he becomes a central character all of the sudden.
-Locke has turned into a full blown idiot. Did he forget about the smoke monster he stared down? Why didn't Desmond ever say "How about we go ahead and push the button, go over this new information, and maybe don't push it later today?"
^^^ This was a wierd twist that kinda seemed out of character, for Locke. I mean he DID see the camera in the other hatch. Maybe it would have crossed his mind. But it kinda seems like Locke has a death wish or something. I'm interested to see what really crippled him before the crash.
Yeah, not a whole lot of answers, other than "the button" is real. But friggin awesome none-the-less. Season 3 should start off very interesting like. But seriously, I can't believe they didn't have Sayid and Jin come in at the end. I guess that's the big cliff-hanger for next season. Can't wait to get this on DVD now. Now I'm gonna have to go and buy season 1, YOU MAGNIFICENT B@STARDS!!!!
Oh my god the whole thing was just great, I'm still stunned!
Anybody else notice the guy at the end in the snowy place who called Penny had a *bit* of a resembelence to Jack. I think someone already confirmed on one of the crazy lost boards that it was in fact the same actor. Um, does Jack have a long lost twin? Very wierd.
I assumed he got his legs busted by the guys who his 'dad' ripped off.
Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. I think maybe there might be a story where he went to that "healer" guy, in Australia, as well. I'm sure all of that will be in his flashback next season. There's just soooo many unanswered questions. CAN'T.....STAND.....NOT.....KNOWING
Don't know how much action this will see with this being the bonnaroo offseason......
So new season, you guys and gals. What do you think so far? I thought the first episode was fairly uneventful. This second episode was better IMO.
So there's gotta be something where it's next to impossible to get to the side of the island where "the others" really are.
The others are in contact with the outside world, which I was pretty much sure of last season (pats self on back).
Will we hear from Michael and Walt again?
There's a whole lot of relationship drama in the first 2 episodes, which I don't think the show needs any more of. That blonde "other" chic that was prominant in the first episode seems to be a major player this season, maybe something with Jack happening later.
Looking forward to the next episode which finally deals with the rest of the crew back on the beach and the hatch. The little teaser made me quite excited.
I still think that someone is gonna join the others. I thought Locke at first, but now I'm thinking that it could wind up being Jack. I don't know what to think, which is the usual for this show. Should be interesting.
So what does everyone else think? That is if anyone who watches the show actually reads this.
I thought that the second ep was better too (although the opening of the season premiere rocked), but Sun and Jin are my faves. I really miss Eko and Hurley too. Definitely seems like Lost its right back on track (occasionaly frustrating, occasionally jaw-dropping, consistently compelling, really well made).
I was actually thinking they had no outside connections, and drugged and interogated everyone to get their info. Cool scene with the Red Sox game.
Sayid's high and mighty routine is starting to wear thin.
The jumping around to different sets of characters really started to annoy me last year, and I don't think the season really got going until everyone got back together. Looks like that could be a long time coming (if it ever happens again).
There will be a total of six episodes in a row now (next week being number 3) and then a really long break until they run straight through May sweeps starting in January. That will be really cool come January, but I have a feeling this little fall run will be all set-up, probably with a major cliffhanger at the end.
They are doing something right when part of you wonders whether a major character (Sun) may have just been killed (or I'm just gullible).
In other Wednesday TV news I officially think the Nine sucks and am dissappointed that Kidnapped got cancelled.
I just watched the new episode and WOW!!! I'm in utter amazment at the quality of this show, yet again. That definately goes up there as one of my favorite episodes.
So I'm still thinking that Locke might wind up joining The Others. Maybe trade himself for Sawyer, Jack, and Kate. I dunno, but that episode was pure suspense and the reason I watch the show. And the whole deja vu thing......F*CKING PERFECT.

I can't imagine how someone might want to "join" the others, since no one knows anything about them, their plan, their purpose, etc. Plus they are agressively secluded, so they don't seem to want more to join (for whatever they're doing in the first place). Perhaps further down the road when more is revealed about them, we could see someone being convinced by their philosophies, but not yet. The real question is, what's up with Desmond prognosticating Locke's "speech"? Was he injured somehow into an ability, a temporary delusion, just a coincidence (nah, not on this show), or perhaps he really did travel through time briefly? This should be fun to watch unravel. Thoughts?
The reason why I think Locke might join them, is how obcessed he is with the island and all it's secrets. He joined a cult like family in his past, in his most recent flashback. Also I think he's intrigued by the fact that thier supposed leader, the other formally known as henry gale, befriended him and told him that he was coming for him(Locke). It's just a hunch and it probably wouldn't happen for a long time yet, but it's my theory. I did read in an interview with JJ Abrams that said that the audience's view on The Others will probably change this season. So I dunno.
As for the deja vu thing I'm not sure what to make of it yet. I think it's an interesting theory that some sort of portal may have opened up and maybe desmond went through it.
tonight's show was very disappointing. the show is becoming to much of a tease and there needs to be a balance between the unknown, intrigue and story. The we, the audience, are more sophisticated and need things to develop more quickly; at least that would make ME happier.
Yeah last night's episode pretty much sucked. I think Jack operating on Ben is a good idea. It makes for some interesting drama and questioning of who's telling the truth. But I'd really like to know.....WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO LOCKE GOING TO LOOK FOR JACK, SAWYER, & KATE!!!! I guess he lost interest in doing that. Another thing that pissed me off was BANG Sayid, Jin, and Sun are back at the camp. AND WHO THE HELL ARE THOSE 2 CLOWNS THAT WENT WITH LOCKE INTO THE NEW HATCH? Never saw them before and now they're apparently part of the group. I was pissed that Eko died but I knew it was going to happen as soon as I realized he was traveling to the plane of death in the jungle. They should've had the smoke monster suck him down a hole though, like what almost happened to Locke before. Then at least maybe there would be a chance that he would reappear. But WTF is that predictable sh!t? They kill off all the survivors from the other side of the island? LAME. Anyhow, that's my rant for now. I'm really starting to hate how they build things up like it's gonna be something huge and then they completely abandon the thought. Next week's episode better be friggin awesome.
Ok so this weeks episode was definitely better than last weeks, but that's not saying much. There was some good tension, and I'm liking bad-@ss Jack. But come on. There really wasn't much to answer any questions and there weren't many questions raised. They only thing I wonder is who Jacob is. The one Other guy mentions that Jack isn't on Jacob's list. But whatever. The previews keep saying that everything is gonna change, and nothing has changed really. You know Sawyer won't get killed. So what's to leave me hanging until FEBRUARY? I dunno, maybe I expect too much. I'm sure things will pay off in the second half of the season.
