ya. we should just make a plaoff threa.. but this will do fine seeing how the pistons are gonna walk away with it. i kinda wish they would have sat rip and let him heal up. but i guess they know better then me. he looked pretty good so obviously it isnt bothering him much.

Yeah, I think the ankle is behind Rip.
Who are you guys wanting to see in the second round? I'd rather play the Cavs. I'm not one to downplay how good Lebron is, but the Wizards have played Detroit tough every time, and they just have so many more scoring options.
Either way though, if Detroit plays their game it should be a 6 game series at most.
Either way, I'll be rooting against the Pistons. I want thier stranglehold on the east broken once and for all. Same way as I'll be rooting for anybody but those damn Spurs, in the west. Sorry.
i think they will walk through cleveland and washington. i want cleveland to win because i wanna see james play.. he is impressive. i htought it wwas hype but hes the real deal. the west sucks. i cant believe the suns are having problems with the lakers.
i think we need to get some gambling going on.. im giving 3 to one odds on beers at roo that detroit beats the next team (whoever it is) in 5 games or less

I completely agree...it is not as if they have been dominating the conference for the last decade. The Pistons go to work and they reap the benefits. Damn I luv em.

Id take you up on that bet also sam but I'd hate to see you blow all your roo money on beers for all us Pistons Fans. On second thought after todays spanking I would love to drink some beer from the brewers tent on your dime. The bets on for me. Pistons over cavs in 5 or less.we can make arrangements for me to get those beers after we shut down Lebron and the boys . let me know yah or nah .

Just to make sure though the odds are 3 to 1. So if I bet 3 beers and win you guys owe me 9 beers each. You can pay me in can beers though (good can beers no Bud) because I don't want to spend all day in the brooers tent drinking my 18 beers.
Also just to make sure the Cavs only have to win 2 games for me to win the bet. If you guys agree just go ahead and post it.

Man, as big of a Pistons fan as I am, I wouldn't take that bet with 3-1 odds. If I had to guess how many games this series would last I'd be split 50/50 between 5 or 6 games.
There won't be another game like yesterday in the series. I actually look for Cleveland to give Detroit all they can handle in game 2.
