Dude, you have been a model citizen during the off season..can you keep it that way please. I am watching the oil thread closely and I don't like where it is going with you calling out another member. I don't mind people having opinions, I just don't care for them being pushed on.
I am going to ask only once for you to stop this non-sense. I don't care who said this or started that. I will not respond to any long winded pm's from you in case you want to send one to me. I will also send a PM to the other member at hand. I hope I have made myself clear on this issue.
-Jay s i dont know what that means. i havent pushed on him. i havent threatened him. i got into some name calling as a result of being called things and have now quit it when asked. its a discussion about opinions and i asked him to explain some of his. without name calling or anyhting. and now im catching sh.it for that. so now its in pm and im still catching nuts. this was a good discussion and its obvious this guys here to do nothing but incite this type of stuff. everyone that was enjoying this thread agrees. i think the targeting of me has more to do with another discussion in another thread. ill go back to only talking about the happier parts of life so our little 4 person discussion dosent ruin anyones day. some of the mods jsut like to act like they are doing something. moving threads that have 12 pages worth of posts already to new spots for seemingly no reason. but the welcome the new mods is in the general bonnaroo part. a now they want to come into an off topic thread that 4 people are reading and give people crap for killing some time.
and i assumed that the freedom of speech post would be taken with a note of sarcasm. damn you guys are way too serious. youd think you were getting payed or something. and as for multiple accounts that was a year ago to play the karma game with a couple people who were playing it with me. i was told that isnt appreciated and ive stopped. you just want to flex those mod muscles and do a little name calling too. i dont see how pointing out something and then discussing it is 'whining' just because you dont agree. seems to me most of the whining around here is done by people whining about discussions other people are having that noones forcing them to read.

perhaps they think I am you as well Dude. that's the only reason i think they see it as you . christ i composed a whole list of chicago's insults in hope of demonstrating what he added when he joined the conversation. if anyone gets hell via pm it should have been him. or me for that matter. I've been lurking much longer than the camp roo club from 06 has enjoyed their stint here. i think it would be very fair to say many of you have a hard on for keith.
given the history of this thread and the singling out of keith , it is the only explanation i can come up with. and i watched you all freak out when he originally had a take on things that was a little different from what y'all wanted to powow about.
and he's right, too. the mods have kept this thing goin' as much as anybody. i think they are out to protect the lil ole new guy(chicagorooer). they know dude will be around to take all your clique-ish hairtriggerisms. he'll take the teeth out of his argument to appease you. but then , when challenged, he'll prove that he has a passion for whatever is is reresentin' for, and he'll represent. cuz it's righteous. and he's him. Y'all have more loyalty to your camproo 06 and company club than an open forum. anyone who can read has seen that.
Look. I was the first one to tell everyone to chill out. I didn't single out anybody. I was just making generalizations about everyone's statements, and that the name calling and the pointless tit for tat needed to stop. It wasn't just Keith. But there's precedent here. I'm new to all this moderating stuff, so I'm not tryin to step on any toes here. But I know some of the other guys are tired of Keith's antics. Not that I blame them.
Keith you just need to know when to stop. It's like you wanna push buttons and instigate, and that's not cool. So continue discussing whatever you like. But learn to let sh!t go. Sometimes it's best not to say anything at all.
i think its clear that i wasnt the button pusher here. yall just come in and make assumptions. and in the other recent thread where i was labled as a whiner or instigator when the inital post was bashing a whole group of people. the reason that i have only been making friendly posts the last 6 months was because i was conversating with other people that were being friendly.

and your simmerdown was valid. and was directed towards all involved. im not talking about that. but a couple of them wanna name call and and then tell people not to. its the 3 mods that got involved after that which im griping about. but i really dont care and am not worried about it.. just seems silly. anyways ill go back to killing time arguing with chicagoroo in pm. it was never some big thing. its silly to have been discussed this much.

There's alot to be said for "turning the other cheek"......and to get us back on topic here, I'll say that "turning the other cheek" would probably get us alot further in the middle east, than our "scorched earth" policies that we seem to want implement at every turn.
So in my opinion, Israel is the main reason why we are doing what we're doing in Iraq. I think it has alot less to do with oil, than it does to do some sort of end-times prophecy that Bush believes must be fulfilled. Bush gets all sorts of advice from the religious right, and in their opinion we must support Israel, because the Bible says that those that support them will be blessed by "God". It's the same sort of religious fanaticism that the muslims, that we call "terrorists" practice. There's alot of hypocracy involved. Like our view that the people in Iraq and Lebanon and Palestine all seem to be disposable. Protecting the "homeland" is the most important thing. Doesn't matter how many people die to achieve that objective.

You couldn't be more wrong -- this board has been going for a few years now and some of us have an interest in keeping it as stable as it (SOMEHOW) has stayed. If you knew Keith's history of using multiple user names, multiple IP addresses, instigating arguments, and his spectacular meltdown that lead to his banning last year, you'd have a better perspective. The rest of the mods, and myself, have absolutely nothing against Keith. Sure, we're a little more wary with his past history, and maybe quicker to react, but it's for good reason.
I think Keith is a good dude and I'm fine with turning the other cheek, but anybody who has been around the board for more than two weeks will know, he doesn't let that happen.
This has turned into a messageboard politics discussion rather than the war discussion it once was. Cant you mods do all of this privately? Just between you guys and whoever? This just seems to be putting on a show. Or trying to get people to take sides.

yea this thread has been beat up.....I believe jason, dude, shoosh and others point has been made ver yclear. We all know where each other stand. If you look the argument just was going round and round and when it gets to that point it's no use discussing anymore. This thread was getting heated up by all parties involved and we needed to simadown
The main reason many of us come to this board in the 1st place is b/c it is civil and not a bunch of b.s. like on many other boards. I ma glad we have Mods who monitor and keep it clean. hey if u want to turn up the heat feel free to use th eprivate message. Dude and I went round and round yesterday until we finally wore each other out.......
