Are the Lost fans from last year still hooked or have you given up?
I know alot of people who have gotten fed up already
I personally am counting down the days to Feb 7th!!! My boyfriend had never seen it so from November to last week I have watched EVERY SINGLE episode with him (he got hooked really quick!). He's caught up and now I find myself re-energized about Lost after seeing all the stuff I had forgotten.
I still watch, but I thought this first part of the season was really weak, and I'm hoping they start paying off some of the questions they keep raising. I'm mainly interested in Desmond and what happened to him. I hope they delve deeply into that.

I agree, I felt like it was so drawn out, and nothing was really accomplished... "They" say that the rest of the season is going to make up for it, and answer lots of questions and be all action-packed, but I'm a little cynical
The good thing is that it'll be on every week now. So if one episode pisses you off, you'll only have to wait a week and the next one will probably be quality.
Lost is pretty much the most amazing show ever. I got my roommate hooked on it and shes only acutally watched season 3. I had to give her a recap of everything else because we didnt have time to watch season 1 and 2
I'm looking at getting a second job, (gotta a wedding to pay for) so I might miss Lost till a few days after. That's gonna suck it's the only show I watch. Although Jen is getting me to watch heroes.
You knew it was going to happen though. Everytime they go to that plane, someone dies.
I'm interested to see if there really is 2 islands or not. I don't think there is. I think it has something to do with the tides, and they took Sawyer up there and showed him "2 islands" when the tide was in. That's why Jack's plan just might work.

But, if you look back at the last episode of season 2, when the 4 are on the dock tied up, in several scenes you clearly see there is another island behind them, that is definitely not connected to the main island... some lost obsessed people pointed that out before season 3 even started (i'm not that good, but i read the stuff after!), so they speculate that might be the island. I had to re-watch those scenes to see it, cause I was not focused on the background.

How do they get from here to there? They obviously come and go. I think that if there is actually 2 separate islands there's got to be some sort of tunnel that goes between the two.
Has anyone seen the little preview clips that ABC is playing non stop now? It's moving to 10pm now which still doesn't help me cause I'll be at work every week when it's on. Thank god for bittorrent.
Danbird!!! Tsk, tsk.... you need to pay better attention. When they brought back the wounded Colleen, one of the guys said something about the "sub." They have a submarine - and the creators confirmed that's what he said (on the podcast, I believe). That also explains how they were able to sneak onto the boat Sun was on without coming from land or boat.
Mikede - I loooooved the long con episode... I think Locke's father is the original Sawyer that Sawyer got his name form! I have no proof, just speculating

My roomates are completely addicted to this show right now hehe... They borrowed season 1 and 2 and have been revolving their daily lives around it for the past week or so, probably less... I dont have the attention span for TV anymore, i only watch movies once in a while but from what I've seen its a crazy ass show...

Sorry. I don't go that crazy with it. I like coming up with my own theories rather than reading a whole bunch of stuff on the internet, and going whole hog into it. So I'm probably wrong most of the time, but, I've been right a few times too. I just can't get that crazy into it. I like not knowing.

yeah, definitely be glad your not sucked into all the spoilers and reading about it on the internet like me it's quite uncool of me and it is now an addiction

I am taking off work early next week, so I can watch the first of the new episodes. One of my friends is having a viewing party, so I can't miss that. Sh!t yeah.

I can't wait for it to start, but as the series continues i'm getting a little worried. I keep thinking that if they don't play things just right, they run the big risk of digging a huge whole for the show. What really bugs me is this: How in the hell are they ever going to convincingly explain the evil smoke monster thing? I can see possible answers for all of the coincidences, the others' knowledge of everyting, and even the polar bears. But I can't come-up with a plausable justification for evil, intelligent smoke. I just hope they can pull it off.

I dunno, but I'm pretty sure it's some sort of security device, of some sort.

I am going to have to avoid this thread on Thursday since I will be helping a buddy fix up his place Wednesday night before he moves out (he is the least handy person I have ever met) and therefore won't see the new episode until Thursday night. thank the gods that be for TiVo!!
Tonight is the Night!!! There is actually a group of us planning on Tacos and Lost tonight!!! And ABC is worried about viewership . . . . . we having a frickin Lost Party!
