I just watched it again. And I have to say that Ethan has got to be one of the head guys of Dharma. He's recruiting, spying, he's on the island. He does everything. I think there's alot more of him to come.....Here are some screen shots and thoughts......
I don't know why I feel this is significant. But I do.
wow you called something cause that guy just said it again....

I know. I rock. When he said that I patted myself on the back.
So this episode was WEAK. I hate these god d@mn sappy episodes that they feel the need to do 2 or 3 times every season. Relationship episodes suck balls, IMO. I can't stand that new Other b!tch. She talks like Ben. All slow and drawn out. I hate that. I mean Jack's tattoo was the centerpiece of the episode. WEAK.
Next week's episode appears quite promising though. I like how in the preview they said, "the long awaited rescue attempt finally happens." Or something like that. I mean no sh!t, Locke has been talking about rescuing them since the beginning of the season. Funny.
Ill tell you something else!!! They are going to have to pick it up because I am about "Lost" o the whole lost thing.
Last nights epi SUCKED BALLS!!!
If you remember at the end of last weeks epi, they said all dramatic like..."Next week Three of Losts biggest mysteries will be answered",, Really?? I didn't see it last night.
Then at the end of last night we got the announcer saying "If theres one episode of Lost you DO NOT want to miss, this is it, what everyone will be talking about"
I sick of the empty promises, when are we actually going to learn something.
Heres a challenge, what were the three mystries that we sopposedly were going to leanr the answers to last night.
I know one, what happened to the folks who were kidnapped, well sorta, we don't know what happended to them, we just know they are alive and living with the others.

I had to TiVo last night and just watched it. Maybe I am dense, but I can't make up my mind whether or not the jewelry store lady and the Sheriff lady are the same actress. ???

I'm in the same boat. I would probably know if I obsessed about this show like I used to, but Lost has lost me. Now that I know the huge mystery of Jack's tatoos , I can retire from Lost in peace (just kidding, I'll still watch). They pretty much lost me when they killed Eko.
I love how the "everything you need to know that happened so far episode" that preceded the February kickoff episode skipped over the whole tail section bit, because it turns out that was all filler that didn't relate to the mysteries or the big story. Thanks for that.
Anyway, I'm a little bitter, but will still watch. I still like Ben, like the new Sherrif lady, like Sawyer more and more, am a bit intrigued by Desmond. I really miss Sun and Jin.
I hate Charlie and really hate the spawn of Ben and French Lady, who is a horrible actress.

I don't think Ben is really her father. They just told her that, because they stole her from the French lady when she was just a child. He could be though, but that opens up a whole nuther can of questions.
Yeah, really I'm just really tired of the misdirection. They tell you something really important is going to happen, focus on a storyline, and then it turns out that none of it mattered anyway. Let's stick to the facts Jack.

I AGREE!!!! there were not THREE SECRETS revealed!!! i even went over the lost message board cause i remembered that promise and was like what the hell?? no one over there figured it out either. so annoying, i'm ignoring the big announcer promises now - they are crap in a crapper!!!! ;D
but i also disagree, for some reason i loved the episode! i'm just fascinated by the whole mysterious "other-world" crazy society they have going on, and i get so excited to find out more about it. it's totally taken over my interest in the show. so of course they had to let carl go, or we'll get some ACTUAL info!

it's definitely not the same actress. whether they intentionally are trying to confuse us with two women who look alike, who knows.
and fyi... the eko death happened because he wanted to leave to do a play (or some other project). i read this article (entertainment weekly maybe?) where the producers talked about how upset the audience was about his death, and how it seemed rushed and made no sense, and ignored other island issues... and they said they understood and were unhappy with the outcome as well, but he was leaving the show so they tried to wrap up his death as close as possible to the way they had originally planned for later in the season.
they need to reveal why intellegent, scientific people (the others) are so horribly opposed to being civil to innocent people. this to me is really starting to get on my nerves.

It doesn't seem like they have any clear direction or goal, other than keeping people confused enough to keep watching in hope for answers. I've said it before but, It seems like they've dug such a big hole with all of the "mysteriously pseudo-significant coincidental nonsense" that it's getting damn near impossible to save it. I plan to keep watching it but i'm starting to think that, looking back after it's all over, it's going to be real disappointing. It may be one of those shows that would be better-off getting cancelled, leaving everyone confused and endlessly theorizing (Twin Peaks) than continuing and ultimately falling apart.

From what I gathered the three things they revealed are:
1)The meaning of Jack's tattoos 2)The kidnapped people are alive and living with others 3)The Others don't live on that second island, they only work over there.
None of those seem like a huge deal to me or three big secrets but I guess thats what they were getting at. Thats what I gathered from watching and talking to others.
Wow. No one commented on the new Lost yet? Ok then. This episode was entertaining at least. I think Hurley's backstory is the most intriguing. But really, nothing happened. I know now, not to pay attention to the commercials hyping up the episodes. Because they're just lying to us. There was no big reveal. Alex is Russo's daughter, huh, who would have thought? ANYONE WHO EVEN PAYS REMOTE ATTENTION TO THE SHOW, THAT'S WHO!!! That was very weak, but it was fun to watch, so I guess I can't complain too much. The best part was when Sawyer was sitting on the beach and everyone else had their "partner", and he was looking for Kate, but she was nowhere to be found...........That's right. Crack open another beer buddy ;D I know that feeling. Anyhow, I think they're gonna drag Jack's rescue out until the end of the season. I hope I'm wrong but......we'll see.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Last night I had a dream that I was driving a blue VW bus loaded with friends... just a few years ago I had a bus sitting in my driveway that belonged to a good friend of mine. I loved taking that thing for drives on the weekend. Even if I was dreaming, it sure felt good to drive it again.
My most favorite part of the epi was the whole VW bus part (Due to my being a VW fanatic!). Aside from it being completely impossible. If a bus had been sitting there long enough for Frank to decompose the way he did, then the gas would have been bad (or empty, by it lying on its side) the crank/pistons would have been siezed. All seals and gaskets would have been bad causing blowby, or excessive case pressure.
Transmission would have been destroyed, jumping it off at that speed. And the one that takes the cake, The tires would have all been flat (just like the beer)!
it was a magic bus i guess. i hope they don't drag out jack's rescue till the end of the season, i really want to get some insight into at least some of the clifhanger type obscurness that they have written up. i could name a hundred things but yawl know what i'm sayin.

I read somewhere that Michelle Rodriguez was (somehow) returning. I really hated her character and was quite pleased when she died. Oh well...
ahhh i hope it doesn't happen i hated her. She plays the same character in everything she does. I heard the reason they kicked her off the show was because she kept getting dwi's or something.
Why am I always the first one to post on the new episodes? Oh well.
So I thought this episode was probably one of, if not the best episode this season. Sayid kicks so much ass. And Locke is such a douche-bag. Curiosity killed the cat Locke. Haven't you learned your lesson not to f*ck around with computers in hatches? Sheesh. Yeah, anyway, there was alot of good information in this one, FINALLY. So hopefully they will continue this trend. Yeah right

It was about time. I was starting to get a little bummed. When I first read the description, I was sure that the majority of the episode was just going to focus on the Ping-Pong game. I'm SO glad I was wrong about that. It was the best episode this season and hopefully just the beginning of things getting back on track. I'm actually excited about next week, something that I haven't been able to say yet this season. Locke is douche-nozzle but, it's all on purpose (i think). I mean, if you were him, would you want to get rescued?
You stopped watching Lost but you watch 24? Yeah. Hurley's still fat, cause he has a stash of food from the air drop. That and I think he's depressed from Libby's death so all he can do is eat.
That's O.K. I wish death upon Jack Bower everyday. So I suppose it evens out I can't stand 24, but Lost is the shiznit. Sure it has it's downfalls, but at least the main character isn't on the edge of death or the earth's destruction every hour of every day of every week of every month........well you get the point
