This season is finally getting good! Claire and Jack? Brother and sister? Damn! I didn't see that one coming. And yeah, Locke blows goats for pocket-change but, he probably has (is going to have) the most interesting back-story on the island. I'm really glad that we've finally been blessed with a few non-Jack shows at last. I'm getting sick of his tormented boyscout bullsh*t.
I agree, it's good to have a break from Jack. Locke is my favorite but there is definitely something strange going on with him. He definitely wanted that eye patch guy dead, probably because he knew something about him but we never got to find out the rest. Did anybody else notice the eye patch guy was still breathing when they left him by the fence?
So I guess Jack is fully brainwashed. Or maybe they just saw him at a bad time. Like they let him out of his cage for recreation time. As for this "list" that the others have. Eye-patch guy said that Kate wasn't on the "list." Then why would they take her? Unless it was just another experiment, creating a love triangle type of thing. It's definitely getting interesting. I hope they don't let up, or go off on some stupid side story, like they tend to do. Oh yeah, and Claire looks hot as a goth chic
I thought bad acting at first too but the camera angle makes it look like your supposed to see it. I recorded it and went back right when the episode ended and because of the camera angle I don't think they would have let some bad acting get by on it.
I wish someone would off Claire, I get so sick of her whining and crying. That is all she does is bitch and whine and accuse people of shit they didnt do.
Her and Jack siblings, no way I saw that coming. And I do think Locke is a liability to the rest of the group. He does not have the groups best interests in mind, he is only looking to curb his personal curiosity. That said, I do look forward to Locke's back story next week.
That perimeter security fence was the THESHIT!!! I wish I had one of those around my house!! :-)
I am so glad there is an another new episode less than a week away. Good call ABC for doing it this way.
Last night was great, and im excited about the next Locke backstory. Too bad Claire and Jack will never know they are friggin Brother and Sister . . . . WHOA, this just friggin popped into my head as i was typing this, The other know everything about these peoples lives .. . .. . so i am sure they know that Claire is Jacks sister, and he is somehow going to find out before he gets to leave the island, and after he has trusted the others, then he will get all pissed off and then go back to the beach and try to save Claire or something . . . . .

I had kind of guessed that Locke's "father" was responsible. I don't ubderstand how, after being so explicitly conned, Locke could still believe that (can't think of his name but, he was in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape") is his father! He's obviously just a con man... The real Sawyer, in fact.

Locke WILL become one of the others, but he wont just be ONE of them, I think he is destined to take Ben's place as the leader of the Others...
Good epi last night. I guess we are going to get one epi from the others camp and one epi from the beach every other week.
Things are getting intense again fast. Did anyone else think that they saw Michael when the Others raided Jack's bungalow to apprehend Kate?
I did not. Now I will have to go watch it again. Thanks I did notice the recruiting guy. First time we've seen him on the island.
And I think you're probably right about Locke becoming the head of The Others. I'm wondering how the power structure is set up. Like, where does that Head Other Lady fit in? I'm thinking Ben isn't the most powerful person there. They keep talking about this other Other guy. I don't know if they're referring to Olivar Hanso or someone else.
Right. The man behind the curtain. I love how much info they are giving out now. Leads to much interesting speculation such as this. The people over on the Lost forums must be having a field day with all this stuff. I don't venture over there because I like not knowing. That and I'm not THAT obsessed......yet.

I'm with you, Danbird, I like not knowing!! I looked at a Lost forum once and the theories are crazy, but I prefer letting the story unfold and figuring it out as it goes.
i think from last episode when the eye patch guy was talking aobu them and how he "didnt know them" he was about to say locke was on "the list" i think he was about to say he was on the list before he got hurt, cause he said " the john locke i knew.." then got cut off.. stupid french lady haha.
i agree, this season is definately picking up in a positive way. i also am now thinking the break was a good idea cause now its new episodes every week.
its wonderful to know that there is only a week to wait, and that it will be non-stop till the season finale . . . . . .im thinkin they are gonna do a 24 like run for next year, so be prepared to not have lost till January 2008 . . . .
Locke is crrrrrrrazy!!! What was that all about....I'm thinkin' the island somehow manifests all of your fear and or guilt into things.....ie: Jack seeing his Dad / Kate seeing the horse / Eko seeing his brother / Hurley seeing the guy from the psyche ward / and now Locke seeing his father????! Weird sh!t!
Man if they just buried both of them alive and they don't get out thats gonna be some seriously messes up sh!t. I was all for them just offing them, but man it really troubles me now. The idea of getting buried alive has always really freaked me out. Anyways....decent episode although what was up with Nikki and Paulo just being able to get right in the hatch and then later on when Boone and Locke found it was all closed up. Did the Others seal up the hatch.....Crazy Effin show!
