There's a new show this fall called 666 Park Ave which was described by TV Guide to be a cross between Lost and Desperate Housewives (and it has Locke in it). It's supposed to have the mystery and supernatural aspect of Lost with the "seduction" of Desperate Housewives. I plan on watching it. Just an FYI for those looking for new shows.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I love this showwwwww! I watched all 6 seasons over one month January 2011. It was easy, given I was in a hotel room for work 3 weeks and snowed/iced in for the other week. Me and my laptop were bff.
I have so many things I love about this show, but at the end, Sun and Jin in the boat??? I cry my eyes out harder than when Artax dies in the Swamps of Sadness. True story.

I wanted to watch this one, I have this thing about not getting into shows the first season for fear of them not getting renewed. Then I usually forget to get caught up before the second season starts, which reminds me, I need to get caught up on Once Upon a Time. Pretty much just to see Hurley play the Giant.

I haven't read this thread to see how many times my opinion has already been stated, but I was completely in love with Lost until the gotdamn finale. That bullmess completely ruined the show for me. I really wish that I would have never watched it. Several shows have had bad finales, but Lost was by far the worst. I don't know how long it will be before I can wash the taste out of my mouth and re-watch the show. My favorite part of the whole ride was seeing nearly half of the viewers drop off like flies after the third season when they realized it wasn't just a mystery drama. "omg...sci-fi? I'm out." "Flash-forward scene? ugh! I just want to see moar romance! Stop confusing me, Imma stick with my Desperate Housewives!" And then they f'n blew it all with the finale by trying to bring closure for the type of people that stopped watching the fucking show because they either couldn't follow it anymore or were turned off by the sci-fi elements. Ben Linus was one of the greatest tv antagonist of all time.
Just watched Mr. Eko's final episode last night. Oh Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, why did you have to leave.
The show had a policy that all actors had to live on site in Hawaii. I can't remember if it was his Mom or his Aunt that got ill, but Adewale left the island and show to take care of them. I remember an interview with Cuse where he talked about the disappointment of not being able to finish Eko's story arc.
Edit: I'll look for that article today and post it in hwre

I wish there was a way to forget LOST just so I could watch it for the first time again.
Truth. Lost was my first excuse for hanging out with my now wife for the first time. We were out to eat with a group of friends and I was talking to her about Lost which I had just started. When everyone left I called her and asked if she wanted to come over and watch. Started the season over, and for a while Lost was our excuse for hanging out. six years later we got married.

LOST
This made me happy reading. My brother and I started watching this show when it first came out and got a few episodes in when this pretty girl in my yearbook class asked me about it and said she was interested in starting it. I played dumb, and it worked because she asked me to come over to watch it with her. So this then started a nightly thing of catching up on the episodes I had "missed" till we where both caught up. We finished the first season right before i had to go to boot camp but where just friends till that point, even though there was countless nights of me playing with her hair and the occasional hand brush(oh to be young). It wasn't till i left when we both admitted having feelings for one another, this then started a 5 year merry go round of bad timing and it wasn't until i was leaving Haiti that time finally hooked us up (literally). Now we are 5 Bonnaroo's deep and looking forward to #6 in 2015 (We gotta go back), oh and we quote/watch Lost all the time.
