Another Wednesday night rolls around and once again I find myself standing in front of the TV screaming "WHAT THE F@$K!!!". God knows what my neighbors think...
Locke's not dead. Not believeing it for a sec. I believe Locke's dead bout as much as I believe Michael and Walt made a cross-Pacific journey in the little tug boat that could.
Good call buddy. Yeah I saw him, and all I could think was, "How much you bet I can throw a football over those mountains"
Yeah, what a crazy insane episode. Just when you think it can't get any more intense. Well I shoulda known. There's no way Locke is dead. More importantly though WTF is up with the one Other dude? He's talking to Ben when he's a kid and he's still with them and he hasn't aged at all? And Jacob....WTF!?!?!?! Not what I was expecting at all. I got a freeze frame of him, it was really quick..........
That's him(shrugs)
EDIT: You know what. After posting that pic and looking at it for a little, it kinda looks like Locke with long hair. I dunno, maybe I'm crazy. It's giving me chills thinking about it though.
What R U talking about. I thought it was amazing. Probably one of the best yet. So many questions answered about Dharma, and so many more questions raised about The Others. There's a pattern forming here.
Well, they signed on for another 3 seasons for 16 episodes each, so we are basically at the halfway point. They cleared some stuff up last night, but plenty more questions to be answered over the next 48 episodes. But I am glad that they have a definitive end date, because this could go on for an excrutiatingly long time.
Last night was pretty crazy.
And from what I read off another board, they were saying that Locke got shot in the kidney area, but it could have been the kidney he gave to his dad, so it might not be a fatal wound. FWIW.
It took me forever to figure out Uncle Rico. And non-aging dude is pretty crazy, not to mentioned the weirdness that is Jacob. Definitely episodes since they went non-stop have all been taken up a notch from the begining of the season.

what IS the deal with the guy who recruited Juliette who doesn't age? I like the tie back to Hurley's VW. makes you wonder which other subplots that seem wrapped up will resurface later.
and Ben's daughter (Rousseau's daughter who might also be Ben's daughter) is really smart. She knew that Jacob would speak to Locke and that Ben would have to deal with him because of it in order to keep order among the minions. Ben has to be expecting Locke to come back since he didn't shoot him one last time for good measure - I know if I really wanted someone dead I would not shoot them only once - anyone who has ever seen a horror movie knows that crap.

Everyone on the plane did die. All the 'survivors' are near-perfect 'clones' (think Invasion of the Body Snatchers) - they think they are the originals, but they're not. They aren't even human, but they don't realize it (yet). That's why they heal differently and lack the infirmities they had before the crash. They are near perfect copies - except they can't reproduce. Once their creators (Aliens and/or the military/industrial complex) have mastered that, they can proceed with their true plans...

That's one theory, and it might not be that far off.......
I really think that Ben has Lost his standing as The Others leader. No one trusts him, and I think that everyone believes in Locke. There has to be some sort of prophecy or something that everyone knows about and that they think Locke is the fulfillment of. Ben knows this and is scared sh!tless. Jacob asked Locke to help him. Why would he do that unless there was something that only Locke could do to help. And obviously Ben isn't helping. The key to unlocking Jacob lies with Locke. And I'm also beginning to think that Locke is the one they really wanted, and the reason why the plane crashed there to begin with. I dunno. I friggin love this show, cause it makes my brain go in so many different directions. Can't wait till next week.

^^^ i like that theory spooky, nice one. I knew something was gonna happen to locke. I called it (sortakinda). But now after that episode, he probably won't die until next season. Hopefully the island will cure him quick, since he is MY and most viewers hero. Yeah that richard dude was wiggin me out, maybe these 'hostiles" are immortal gatekeepers to the secrets of the planet ( or all existence).
side note: this was the only episode where i actually didn't curse the screen for flashbacks! But Ben can cry in the corner with his doll for all i care, I don't feel sorry for him in the least bit. I mean he killed his own mother by being born! What nerve!
Um yea... Tremendous episode, but opened more doors when I thought they were going to start closing doors.
Thats kinda what I meant....The epi seemed to open more questions than answer the ones we had.
I just so tired of the promos that tout "All your questions will be answered" and then the epi rolls around and they just create more questions....It is intriging though!
I guess I was disappointed with the episode because I was expecting more....Lost has a way of pumping you up, then letting you down!
