I haven't listened to the promos since they said "You can't miss this episode" right before the Nikki and Paolo episode. So much relief on the announcement of a definite end date. Now I feel like I can wait for answers. I've always thought of Lost as the longest movie I have ever watched and going by number of episodes aired so far versus the number left to air I would say we are about to enter the third act of a three act movie.
Break it down like this:
Act One (Character Introduction): All of season one and the first 13 episodes of season two(up to "Henry Gale" being caught in a net.) 37 episodes.
Act Two (Presentation): The final 10 episodes of season two and all of season three. 32 episodes.
Act Three (Resolution): The remaining 48 episodes.

Remember that trail of ash that locked picked up? my friend was just saying she thinks that is the black monster... she also said that she saw some of the 'black ash stuff' on the chair before jacob appeared....
maybe the smoke monster was born from the depths of the volcano at the beginning. Initially I thought it was gun powder or something. But it makes sense that it would be ash. That's why Ben was so careful to step over it.

Jack, Juliette, and Russo are working together. Russo was fetching the dynamite for their plan (whatever that is). That explains the explosions we saw for next week's coming attractions.
I'm going to guess that the 'hostile' man in Ben's flashback isn't Richard. Sticking to my clone theory, I'd say he was the original from which Richard was cloned.

I hope that they're not clones. That would be kinda cheap, in my opinion. Though, honestly, most of the theories I come-up with seem pretty cheap too. I can't imagine how they're going to end it without "cheating" but, it's seems to be on some sort of course and it keeps getting better so, I have faith that they are somehow going to pull it off. I hope.

I know that they've had the ending to the show written since the end of last season, maybe even earlier than that. So I have faith that they know what they're doing.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

If you listen to the commentaries on the season one DVDs, Damon Lindelof and J.J. Abrams (the creators) claim that they knew how it will end before they ever began production on the show.
