Some people are saying that that Comic Con video is a continuity error. It would make sense cause that vid would have to be made in the next episode or two, which would never happen cause there's no way Faraday could make it back in that time after being shot, or so it seems.

To me its not a continuity error. I look at that video as sort of promotion of the season, not something that actually happened. Basically just setting up what the season was going to be about since it came out a few months before Season 5 began. There was a similar video that came out before season 4 involving the numbered bunnies that never really came into play either.

I'd heard this as well, I was just curious what you all think about it. I remember the video with the bunnies, I think that was more of a hint at the time travel possibilities than anything.
Faraday talked to Chang. There were moments in the episode after that where you dont see either one. Thats when this couldve happened.
But Chang didn't buy into Faraday's time travel notion in the last episode, did he? He would have had to in order to make this video.
Thats what I'm saying. During any one of the moments when he wasnt on camera he couldve convinced him and talked him into making a video to try and stop it. When he just continued to talk about how the Dharma group must be started again instead of trying to stop the people from ever coming Faraday got mad and went to do the rest of the stuff we did see in the episode.

From what I've read Chang doesn't get convinced that Faraday was right until tonight's episode. I guess we'll see what happens.

I love that idea - if you replace "Sawyer and Juliette" with "Jack and Kate."
I really don't see Hurley biting it, and I don't want to, but if he goes off all whacked out to try to destroy the hatch, he could end up getting killed. Other than explaining how episode titles relate to Star Wars movies, his only real point anymore is just to be likeable. And if they are shooting for a death that really stirs people up, that would do it.
I'd vote Juliette if I had to, but I really hope it isn't her. Sawyer would LOSE it and go back to his old ways x 10, probably.
But instead of getting worried about a death that may or may not happen later, I'm going to enjoy the fact that in tonight's episode, they might all finally get out of those stupid hideous Dharma coveralls and back to more appropriately skimpy jungle wear. Huzzah!
I enjoyed this week's episode even though nothing major really happened. I've heard we're supposed to "see" Jacob next week. Maybe Ben will be the one to die?
I'm pretty certain it won't be Hurley that dies. Hurley's purpose, strangely enough, lies within the guitar case that he's carrying around. That's supposedly very important. No idea why, but it is. Maybe we'll find out next week?

Oh, and did anyone else notice how handy those guns came in, the ones for which Kate and Jack got everyone else into trouble when they stole them? They let Daniel get killed and then didn't even defend themselves. Sheesh. I reaaaally don't think a guy who can't handle a gun needs to be messing around with a hydrogen bomb.
The only part that pissed me off was when Jack and Sayid didnt even think twice about the temple room. Seems to me that they wouldve flipped out when they saw a temple covered in glyphs.
The episode was pretty good. I definately thought Locke's part of the episode was interesting. It is making me think he is not really alive. Dead is Dead remember! I didn't want for it to go that far, I really wanted locke to not be dead. He really has been different. I am starting to think maybe he is the smoke monster after all. One crazy theory I have is he is the smoke monster and Jacob is a reincarnation of the wolf headed god, maybe that is why Locke wants to kill him. That is very unlikely, just something swimming around in my head. I guess the finale is going to be jam paked with info, b/c the last two episode were lacking. Does anyone know if it will be 2hours or 1?
Also, why the F does Kate have to go and mess with Sawyer and Juliet. Juliet is going to lose it on her. I think she may do something crazy in the finale. I want Juliet and sawyer to stay together...Please!

Agreed. You would think it would warrant at least a couple questions about its meaning. That total lack of curiosity about their surroundings has always bugged me about many of the Lostaways. Sure, the Island is scary - but it's also really cool and mysterious, and most of them never have taken an interest in exploring it or figuring it out at all. I don't get that kind of attitude.
I'm eager to see what Locke is up to with killing Jacob. I don't know what kind of dead or alive he is, but the island is definitely "talking" to him or he wouldn't have known exactly when to bring Richard to the plane. So it seems like he really is doing what the Island wants, and I wonder how that fits in with the Bumbling Bombers. If the Island doesn't want that hydrogen bomb going off, we are going to get a kick-ass Locke/Jack showdown.
I think the finale is 2 hours, at least that's what I've heard.
Someone suggested that perhaps Locke has to kill Jacob to set him free; he's being held prisoner by someone/something/the Island. He did say "help me" to Locke, so maybe that's what's going on?

So that map that Sawyer (presumably) drew for Radzinsky so he and Juliet could board the sub.... Is it possible that is the same map that Locke had to go dig out of Horace's pocket in the mass Dharma grave in order to find Jacob back in season 3?

Possibly. I think it's a better possibility that the map Sawyer drew is what Radzinsky (sp) eventually draws on the Hatch door in the glow-in-the-dark bleach paint in the Swan.
Going to watch Lost now, since I had to work last night. THEY BETTER NOT F*CKING SCHEDULE ME AT NIGHT NEXT WED!!! I will report back on my findings shortly.

This is what I was thinking too. I don't know how it all fits in. Unless a previous poster was right and Jack becomes Jacob in the past. Maybe Jack's the one that brought Christian there, but Christian doesn't wanna be there or something. I dunno. I got nothin

I'm just happy to see Richard Alpert involved in an entire episode. He is so intriguing. Even more interesting is that he is in both 1977 and present. I wonder if they'll actually explain him. I wonder if he's human or a part of the island.

No offense to the creator of the Jack into Jacob thing, but hasn't Jacob existed for longer than whatever exact year they are in now. But on that Jack could be a ghost which is Jacob. Maybe why no one sees him, also could explain help me that Locke heard?? But the finale is listed as a part one and part two so I'm pretty sure its two hours.

Jacob was at least referenced a few times. Richard told a Gaston-like Widmore that he healed young Ben because "that's what Jacob wanted". Also, back in 1954, Locke told Richard "Jacob sent me" which got Richard to sit down and listen to what Locke had to say.
