I recently bought an agave plant, if that counts. It's a really tough desert one so I'm hoping it won't die, plus it's the plant that tequila is distilled from so it's a party waiting to happen.
This is Homer. Check out the extra claw on his front paws.
Sketch has thumbs too! isn't it cute?
Homer is what we'd like to find in a kitten-friend for Sketch. Orange tabby, with bonus toes. (but not a requirement. I imagine when we decide to go to the Shelter to get him a buddy in the next month or so, we will want to take them ALL home).
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this
This is Ruckus, or Ruckie. He's my eight and a half old spoiled rotton Boxer baby. He likes sushi.
very pretty - I am not much of a dog person but Boz is - when we do finally get a dog - I want a Boxer
I was NOT a dog person, my boyfriend (now hubster) bought Ruckus and we brought him home and he peed all over me, then he ate my Adidas slides. And then he grew up and was funny and stopped chewing and was charming and fell in love with me and then we all moved in together and I fell in love with him too and now he's eight and I am a dog person (who still loves cats).

Awww all your pets are so cute! I live in a condo with a bitchy roommate so I can't have a pet (even though she has one)...but when I get home I will post pics of my baby, my basset hound Buddy
Bamadancer-I feel your pain. For ten years I was without dog, being a dog person. I was a crazy ass apartment dwelling dog person who knew better than to put that expectation onto a dog. Props for doing it to maintain peace with a roomie.
Good thing to come of it-I learned to love cats.
I am a hound sorta person and would love a Bassett some day. I bet you can't get enough when you visit.
Know that your sacrifice will greatly benefit dogkind now and in the future . All good things in all good time....
And then some !

This is Buster around Christmastime a few years ago. Sadly he passed away this past Thursday... I miss my pooch
So sorry dude. When all else in life goes "astray", we can count on our hairy buddies to relate without words. Here's hoping the memory of Buster and all your good times will get you through tougher times than these. And that you can pay it back down the road, without words, to those like Buster.

I would include pics of my pets if I could get my new laptop to recognize my digital card - but I have a samoyed named Kalo (looks like all samoyeds) a cat named Lisa (her twin Bart died a few years ago) and a marine fish tank with tangy, nemos, etc.
You guys should try and convince my mean old girlfriend that we need a new puppy.
In fairness, before you try to convince me of that, you should know that we already have a 25 pound dog and a 75 pound dog in a one bedroom apartment, and both of them sleep on my side of the bed at night.
