Which brings me to another point, a point which everyone here surely understands but fascists apparently don't. Life has value. I don't need a child to be my own to value their life and their happiness. I feel like my responsibilities as an adult include helping look after children that aren't mine. It takes a village, etc. That extends to animals. I think anyone who thinks that's a weird viewpoint is a sociopath who doesn't belong in public work at all.
james keeps picking up pine cones and wanting to bring them inside. i can't pull them from his mouth because i don't want to hurt him, so i have to distract him with another toy.
I let Leeloo bring them in and then swap them out once inside. She's the only dog I've had that loves sticks, grass and leaves. Best $4 I spent was a bacon flavored stick chew toy. a.co/d/6MBzF3n

Druid this is why I don't usually let Leeloo bring in sticks. She'll chew on those over her chew toys and sticks aren't really good for puppy teeth and gums.

let James out this morning. lost sight of him for a bit and started calling him, eventually he ran up and i thought he had another pine cone, it wasn't a pine cone it was a turtle.
had to get a treat to get him to drop it then carry the poor turtle back out into the woods. turtle is fine though he popped his little head and legs out and walked off.
But omg the hair. If any long-haired cat owners (bonus if you have a ragdoll) have any suggestions on lint rollers for clothes, please share. Bc I’m actually going insane. There’s just hair EVERYWHERE and I can’t cope.
