^^^ I'll be there. I've got a crazy weekend planned. Iggy and the Stooges, Friday, APW Wednesday, Felice Bros. Sunday and a 9 a.m. flight to Orlando on Monday.

I decided not to look at Radiohead's setlists before APW since I looked at all their setlists before I saw them in May. As rewarding as it's going to be not knowing at all what to expect, it's killing me right now not reading anything about the shows they've played in the past week.
BLOC PARTY DAVE 1 & P-THUGG (OF CHROMEO) THE VIRGINS
Booze? Free. Door Cover? Free. Going dancefloor ape-shit in a Williamsburg warehouse to Bloc Party? Free. Advil and shitty 4am diner waffles? Not free. But a solid investment, for sure.

So, my drunk ass lost my wallet in a cab last night. With no debit/credit cards, and no access to my bank account till I get new IDs, I have no way of getting from Philly to Liberty State Park. I would need to magically come up with about $250.
Anyway, I'm bummed, but need to try and sell these tickets. I have one ticket to each Friday and Saturday nights. Paid a little more than $100 each. All I'd like is $100-125 for the pair. I can overnight the tickets if needed. If in Philly I could meet up with whoever.

Any APW'ers know if there is going to be a webcast of this festival? I have been really digging on the webcasts this year, via iclips and blueroom.
Also, sorry to hear about that Greecian. I know that you are huge Radiohead fan, so that really has to hurt.
And for the rest of you, have a great time. I think that you will be hearing something special with the double dose of Radiohead. Also, I saw Underworld earlier this year and it was really good stuff. But give their set a little bit of time, because the show that I saw started slowly but by the end of the second hour it was sonic jubilation.
but it would be...uh.. god help me, reboobulous, for radiohead to issue a 4cd live album of the two nights
Haha.
Call me crazy, but that idea doesn't quite seem to jive with Radiohead's MO. I'm still waiting for an official release of their Bonnaroo show, a performance I don't know if they'll ever be able to top.

I would be down with that, but I'll take it one step further - Blu-Ray DVD, with bonus features. Then I could have my own little Radiohead tweakfest whenever I wanted. I've been wearing out my Glastonbury dvd lately, and that one does not have any of the In Rainbows stuff.
After seeing them again at Lolla, I had such a let down, because I knew that was the last time I would be seeing them for a while. I have a feeling that they will be playing Coachella next year though, since it is Coachella's 10 anniversary and they could bill it as the only 2009 north american show like they did back in 2004.
grrrr Tiffany is very sad. I was supposed to go. Originally for free, then I was gonna buy tickets. but I can't spend money right now, saving up for the big move and all my plans just got shot anyway. and plus, listening to jack johnson right now makes me sad anyway. hope everyone has fun. i really really wish i was there
I had fun but this one was somewhat lame. Went Friday and Saturday. First off, this is in a state park and this is the first time they have ever allowed alcohol there so as an "experiment" they decided to sell with a lot of stringent rules. They put a big purple X on your hand with a sharpie and then you had "tabs" on your wristband to get into the beer garden. After your 5 tabs were done no more beer for you. Of course, there were all sorts of ways to get around this. Some cool beer servers would take one tab when you bought two beers and at one point I used hand sanitizer to wipe the X off my hand and tore my old bracelet off and went through the ID check again.
This was a PAIN in the ASS to get in and out of. Friday we stayed for the whole Radiohead show and didn't get back into the city until past 3 am! We had taken the train in on Friday and that was a long process and crowded but Saturday was better. Left early on Saturday and got back in the city at a decent hour (went to see DJ Questlove in the City at Love and there was no AC in that bitch!)
Also the beer gardens were NOWHERE near the stages or not placed where you could see the music while you were enjoying a cold one. I had a bunch of friends with me who I haven't see for a long time and I was stuck in the beer area and away from the music most of the day. On Friday I saw two full sets and a couple partial and Saturday I saw two full sets only. We ended up getting there WAAAAAY later than anticipated. Pretty big waste of money for what we paid but, of course, some of my favorite artists that I was looking forward to delivered. K'naan put on a really great show on Saturday and I will have a ton of Youtube videos from that show when I get back to the Left Coast.
