Peer Pressure! Between you guys and my friend here who is having a hissy fit to go...(and she NEVER wants to go to festies...I think it's just cause its in Chicago...LOL!) I don't think I'm going to be left much of a choice....at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it! (Isn't rationalization such a wonderful thing?? HEE! ;D)
And LRH....NOT MANY I am betting....I predict they will part ways again next year...maybe for good this time... Sad as I will be....but they show no signs of making ANY new music together...sigh...and that ISN'T a good sign for a long-term reunion.... So yeah! Lolly is GOOD TIMES! ;D
AND....if my math is correct (don't bet on it....it's my WORST subject )....I should be just about NASTY just about NOW!! ;D
LOL!
EDIT: And may I note that I am NOT a regular poster on either the Three Word Game NOR the Song Title game...and STILL made Nasty thankyouverymuch! ;D LOL!
What do all you past Lolla goers think of the crowd?
The past two years, Lolla's crowd has seriously taken away a lot from my experience. Most of hte weekend, all I can think about is how big of bungholes and pricks everybody seems to be, and how I wish I were at 'Roo. I'm not sure if this is a global thought process, but just interested in other's opinions.

looks like Perry got added to the lineup. Or did I just miss him on there earlier?
Regarding the crowd, I've never really been bothered by them. There's definitely no sense of community like you get at a camping fest but thats not too surprising. The most annoying thing to me is that the festival is on a straight line so everyone basically has to take the same route when changing stage sides. It gets a little crowded.

yes it really is that far apart. It's not terrible but its a good long walk. I think they had to do some of the layout this way because they were getting terrible noise bleed the first couple of years. Last year was better and you'll find lots of stuff to see on the stages in between the main ones.

I dunno, if we thought Zeppelin would make it hard to get tickets to Bonnaroo... I mean, would anyone really have a chance if Lolla suddenly announced them?
In the US The Wiggles were launched at the famous Wall Mart in June 1999 while performing in the shopping centre cars parks. In 2003 they performed 12 Sold Out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York and performed to over 250,000 people in November 2005. Their US fans include John Travolta, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, John Fogarty, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Rock, Courtney Cox-Arquette and Cate Blanchett.
This was mentioned somewhere before, but Kanye is now listed above NIN. I swear to god, they better not put NIN up against Radiohead. Heads will roll.
according to NIN's tour schedule they are on sunday so no worries there. It just sounds like they bumped up Kanye and thats it. not sure when he'd play (i'm sure they know on the lolla boards but i get annoyed reading there).

I thought Radiohead was closing things out on Sunday. There's no way NIN closes, is there? I'm getting anxious about this schedule. I'm picturing, Kanye Friday night against Raconteurs. RATM Sat. against Wilco and Radiohead vs. NIN on Sunday. That would suck the big one.
