If I lived in close proximity to Texas, I would be here and I would be at the following sets having a blast!
Foo Fighters Robert Plant & Alison Krauss Beck Manu Chao David Byrne The Raconteurs The Mars Volta Gnarls Barkley Robert Earl Keen Iron & Wine G. Love & Special Sauce Band of Horses The Swell Season Gogol Bordello The Black Keys Galactic Vampire Weekend Slightly Stoopid Yonder Mountain String Band Del the Funky Homosapien Mason Jennings Xavier Rudd Back Door Slam Langhorne Slim
dude... that's a solid line up for my tastes!
edit: I'm an idiot... at first I thought it said Eli Cook Band, not Eli Young. I in fact have no idea who Eli Young is

one of the many texas country bands that always make the lineup
on my other message board(which is mostly texans), i saw someone post their list of must-see bands, and it was 90% bands from texas which come around the are ALL THE TIME. that pisses me off. why would you pay $170 for bands that you could probably see for under 100 all together?? expand your tastes, people!!!!

Langhorne Slim holds a special place in my heart. I don't think I will ever miss an opportunity to see him again ... Unfortunately, it's very hard for me to consider this an opportunity

Which board is this?
its a Texas A&M message board, though its not associated with the university offically. its blown up over the past few years, though, and has at least 10k registered users. unfortunately, A&M is generally made up of conservative white christians who often frequent the boards and find any reason to bash liberals and dems. there are a handful of cool people, but mostly i just have fun pissing people off ;D

every moment is an opportunity! ;D
yes... but my bankroll is far from opportunistic at this point.
I think it's a decent lineup and I'm happy with the headliners and most of mid-level and lower. That being said, I'm not sure I'll make the trip this year.

LOL!!
AllGood wouldn't fit schedule-wise. i'll be at Roth from the 3-6, and i've got to work at SOME point. especially since bonnaroo is only two weeks before roth.
as for lolla...believe me, i'm DYING to go. the ticket price i could do, the plane ride might be a crunch, but there's no way i could afford a hotel room on top of that

You obviously haven't been paying much attention... The headline for Thursday night's announcement at AllGood read "Work Less, Dance More."

listen to it
haha...ah yes...the double edged sword. gotta work to pay for the festival, but can't go to the festival if i work. its quite the vicious circle
