well its pretty early. but the dude loves bisco so ill bet they will be back. i wouldnt be surprised to see phil back again on sunday. maybe DSO to get some more people there on thursday. although i loved the fact that it was only a few hundered people on thursday. im betting the friday and saturday headliners will actually be headliners this time around. maybe beastie boys, dave, incubus or some other more mainstream attraction for a night. maybe WSP one night. i was surprised sound tribe wasnt at the first one so id guess STS9 latenight would be an almost sure thing. i hope umphreys is back only late night this time. in the end i doubt it matters. im sure whatever they come up with will be more then enough to get me back. it was one of my favorite fests ever! they definitely need a bigger lineup to make money with the setup they had. tickets were already pricey if i remember correctly. so hopefully they wont go up. but just having headliners on fri and sat added with all the positive word of mouth would make it much larger. and if they dont do that then they need to eliminate some stages. something closer to an all good format maybe. but again it dosent really matter to me. i will be at the front of the line as long as superfly dosent start running it.

Hell yeah, Thursday night was the best night of the fest for me. I want Echo to stay small like it was, that is what made it so great!
I'm afraid I have some bad news for everyone who was hoping Echo would be back this year.
Here's what Michael Allegretto told me today: ============================================== Michael Allegretto to me 11:26 AM (1 hour ago)
Dale,
Unfortunately EP has been shelved for another year. Given the economy the decision was made to ramp up for 2010.
MA ============================================= On the positive side, they do plan to bring it back next year.

That stinks. Thanks for sharing though Dale. Hope the posters helping tie you over.
Well it's not like there aren't plenty of other fests this year. I'm trying to figure out if I might be able to make it to Rites of Spring in Nashville, since I just heard about it. And there's a new fest Hoopee Jam in May about 40 miles from my house.

Yeah. I might go to BamaJam or the Crawfish Boil in Birmingham if I can go for free. I have some friends with connections. Other than that I'm not feeling a big drive for anything other than Bonnaroo. All of that changes if the Woodstock being free thing really happens. I'm there.
