Stupid laptop, I start typing and it jumps back a page. Anyways.
I just got an email that Spoonfed Tribe just go added to Waka, I will give my two cents on them since i have seen them at least 20 times, more than any other band. Spoonfed Tribe is a tribal funky tripped out band, that are all about the performance, the majority of the times i saw them was over five years ago before their main guitarist Katsuk left, back then they were amazing. I felt they lost a huge part when he left, and they are almost at that level, but i havent seen them in a while. They put on a really good show, but they seem to be more percussion focused then they used to. I would like to see this set to see what they are up to now, I dont think you could go wrong checking them out, im not sure who they are up against though.

I've seen them about 2 years ago (Spoonfed) and have been wanting to check them out again since. Definitely gonna be at their Backwoods stage show as when I saw them they actually Had a percussion setup in the audience, roped off, which they paraded through the crowd towards and rocked the fuck out!
I've also heard they were upping the Parade aspect of the show
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

I'm pumped. I put in my request to volunteer and got accepted, just put down my deposit today. There are no absolute "must see" bands for me, but the whole experience will be fantastic I presume. I couldn't afford to go to this and Roo and I already have had my Roo ticket for months. So putting in some hours to help out will be good and then I get to see it all for free! Also, I bet volunteering will help me get to know some awesome people too.
Anyone else volunteering Waka? Since Waka doesn't have tent only, is there a way that inforoo'ers usually try to hook up once inside the festie?
I look forward to meeting some of you there and am so pumped to have a more intimate festival that won't be too hard on the feet leading up to the marathon that is Roo!

Sweet, love the map. Now I know where to head for the fishing, ballon rides and the trail after Sunday Hopefully it will still be available to those doing extended camping so we have something to do

If there is any interest in a camp InfoRusa I think the best way to try and meet up would be at the nearest walmart parking lot!
I'm planning on getting there at midnite wednesday night when the gates open, and try to set up shade canopies and tents...
seems so strange to have people arriving and setting up in the middle of the night though... unless we have painted lines on the grass for each car/campsite so you could just wait until morning

remember chompown is Saturday morning at 9!!! Its gonna be a long Friday, so a nice big meal on Saturday morning, followed by a nice intimate Dirtfoot show!!
So who is gonna be there when the gates open at midnight on Wednesday? I will. I live about 45 minutes away so I wanna be first in line with my crew. My plan is to set up camp Wed. night and try to get some sleep, but I have a feeling we will just party all night.

We will be arriving between 9 and 10PM on Wednesday. Getting right in and setting up camp. I hope the line getting in isn't too bad by then. I could see alot of primitive/mainstage campers waiting to get in at that time....i guess we will see in 7 DAYS!!
we're leaving atlanta around 2 or 3 so we'll be there right around time on wednesday night. i can't beleive we'll be leaving in exactly a week! ohhhh shit!

I'll be in the Accessible Camping area, but coming in on Thursday mid day. 13 hour drive, and leaving Wednesday after work. May get halfway Wednesday, drive the rest Thursday morning.
I'll be there with my Xterra with a roof top tent, so I should be fairly easy to find if you want to stop in and say hello.
