yes i never made it to Lawrencearusa, but it couldn't have been better than this weekend... I had the time of my life... probably my number 1 festival ever. The vibe/weather/shows were PERFECT!
except for the power cutting out a few times in the Outpost tent...
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
best weekend of my life! the weather was perfect, everyone's spirits were soaring, met some awesome people, and of course....the music. the vibe around those tribe shows was something serious to be sure. it was my first time seeing them friday, but those 2 shows were my favorites of all time. i think i liked the tent set better, i would just turn around and people all had the biggest smiles on their faces. goood times.
Oh by the way, i came up with a pretty cool idea for the fest. if you were taking any pictures during the weekend, send them to my email, frusciante177@yahoo.com . i'm going to compile a database of all the pics i receive and then send them all out to the kind folks who sent some in. if you're interested let me know, it's a cool way to experience other people's moments and maybe remember someone you had met or something.

Such a beautiful venue and right in my backyard. Had a great time. I had to pick my face up off the ground when I left STS9's first set. Also just read that Waka signed a three year contract with mulberry mountain.

All 3 Dirtfoot shows were AWESOME! There was just somethign about that latenight. Being at the backwoods stage, and walking up a long dark road hearing gypsy, punk, country, grumble, boogie. Then seeing the fire dancers. ahhhhhhhhh....

Absolutely incred I loved Waka more so than I did Roo this year. So much smaller, more intimate and awesome vibes. Got down to STS9 and Sphongle late night Saturday couldn't make up my mind so I just hopped between the two. Both amazing. Blew my mind, only bummer was my neighbors, buncha kids from Nebraska doing the balloon thing so much they became obnoxious and disrespectful. ible!

i heard quie a few ballons and tanks on my way back to camp one night. I REALLY wish there was a way they could keep these out of festies. They are TERRIBLE. People DIE from nitrous. When you inhale nitrous, it cuts off the oxygen to your brain.....how does that sound like fun???

i actually thought the nitrous scene was pretty good this year. there was only 3 times I thought I heard one, and twice it was someone deflating their air mattress
I also saw them busting a tank, but I never really saw a crowd of people wandering with balloons as per roo this year
