My lady and I drove down to mulberry mountain yesterday to check out the site and it's a very cool place to see a concert. The ferris wheel should be a big hit up there in the hills. I can't wait to get completely mindporked at the latenight Buckethead/Secret Chiefs 3 throwdown.

I just read that the Jimmy Herring band will be playing thursday. What a great way to kick things off. He's got Oteil on bass and Jeff Sipe on drums. And a sax. Sounds pretty legit. Is anybody else going on a float trip on thursday? I figure I'll be the first one in line, get my camp set up, and then it's off to the Mulberry. Hopefully Jimmy will be starting up right when I get back.

destination, do you think Mule will headline thursday or do you think they put that date because that's when waka starts? Just curious if they had announced that somewhere.

Wakarusa Festival - cancelled Big apologies to our american friends,we have been told that there is such a backlog of sponsership visa requests that eat static will not be able to attend this event as there is not enough time to process the information..the immigration is so heavy now thatyou cannot risk going there without the correct paperwork..the folks at Wakarusa have assured me that I shall be playing it for definite next year instead..
