o Yea, Girl Talk is getting pretty massive. I would almost say he could replace Tiesto's spot.
Oh...I'm sorry...were you being serious?? IMHO Girl Talk has gotten WAAAY beyond Tiesto in the last year(even though I was underwhelmed by his last release in comparison to his formers...but that's just me)....I would be surprised to see GT at Roo this year just because he HAS gotten so HUGE and can't see him as a headliner and really almost TOO big for a late night tent...and just not the vibe for the Which stage .....
He played the Cannery Ballroom a month ago in Nashville with a capacity of about 400. Not big enough to even think about being a Bonnaroo headliner. Tiesto sells out 20,000 person venues in the states, and stadiums in Europe, I dont really like either of them but Tiesto is waaaay bigger and he played a tent latenight.

I'm not a big Girl Talk fan, and I probably wouldn't even go to the show, but I think he could play a late night tent set and pack it out. Just like Tiesto did. It's all hype, but hype goes a long way. He's waaay bigger than he was when he played in 2007.
And also, I was thinking last night that Bjork would make a great late night set as well.

The Killers = blah....
Seriously - I know people want to see thier favorite bands play - if you love The Killers - fine - but why would you want a late night consisting of 3min song - stop - 4 min song - stop - 3 min song - stop - epic 6 min song - stop .....
Don't you people like to dance? Are you really going to be rockin out to Mr. Brightside or whatever their Top 40 hit of the month is? Some songs that are so overplayed on the Top 40 radio... You want just another run of the mill show for one of the very few late night Bonnaroo shows you will have in your lifetime?
I don't know about you guys - but - I want something otherworldly after midnight on the farm.
I digress...
STS9 should be back this year.
Galactic is due.
Tea Leaf Green is deserving.
The New Deal needs to get some respect from Bonnaroo.
DJ Sasha should be Bonnaroo's house DJ - just playing like 16 hours a day at some tent burried deep into the woods where the sun never reaches the ground.
And... the Disco Biscuits should have a lifetime late-night contract with Bonnaroo.
3:15 with Chali 2na rockin till the sun came up. There were maybe 1000 people there. The only redeeming factor of Kanye was I had room to get down in front of the stage at that show. Galactic is managed by Superfly however I bet they are back unless they are overseas or something.
Chali2na and very special guests. I announced it on here . They had all just played a show together that afternoon in Chattanooga. Chali2na and VSG was announced the same time as the Kanye timeslot change.
Primus for me. Even though they only play a few shows a year now, i think they're due back at the farm. If not, Les Claypool will do just fine, but i'd much prefer Ler and Herb there with him.
When I found out on Sunday that Galactic was his backing band and they'd been playing J5 songs, I was majorly bummed. Especially since I'd gone to see Kanye thinking it would be a cool show (and we all know how that turned out)

From what she's said in interviews she was a little premature in announcing 'roo as her last live show ever. She's either pregnant or just had a baby. she'll be back.
hmmm...i thought it had something to do with her dad/uncle/somebody being connected to terrorists. maybe that was misinformation.
Her dad was part of a militant group in Sri Lanka. I don't think she's seen him since she was a kid, though. It's mostly just the Bush administration being dickholes because this guy just happens to be her father.
I remember Rodrigo y Gabriela also had trouble getting a visa to play 'Roo in 07

I'm hoping for some Wilco late night on the Which stage. Every time I've seen them, they've played for at least 2 1/2 hours, so they could easily pull a 3 hour set. My only request with them late night would be for them to pull out more of their rock songs. The past two shows I've seen have been great, but were a little quiet.
As for the Black Keys and Robert Randolph suggestions, how about this for a late night: The Black Keys --> Robert Randolph & The Family Band
