Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
iubossfan, I'm with wolfmanjess on this one...get thee to Bonnaroo! I'm in my mid-40s and definitely not a camping kind of girl. 2008 was my first Bonnaroo and to say it was the experience of a lifetime is an understatement. I really hope we see The Boss in June!
Obviously will be back in the U.S. for the required dates as it stands now!!
I don't see how you can say he'll obviously be in the US based on the tour schedule when all june/july dates are in Europe. Mind you, I only skimmed through about half the Bruce butt-kissing on the page, so maybe I missed something that said he would be back...

I really appreciate the sentiment, but it's not simply an age issue. I've had a couple heart attacks, and one of my concerns heading into a show is whether I'll have chest pains that night.
I just kind of have to rest up and take it easy before a show, because it really is physically/emotionally exhausting.Just walking up the steps from the floor to exit the arena after a night in the Pit ,my legs feel like lead, and my back usually stiffens up as well.
Getting back to the new schedule and implications for 'Roo,the positive is that the dates after June 10 are still available. When Bruce had a 2 or 3 week break in Euope last year,he flew home and then started the 2nd Euro leg in Cardiff Wales,so flying home is not an issue.
The problem I see is that UK sites, including Glasto have not been released. The idea of Bruce not playing at least 3 or 4 shows in the UK is unfathomable, and there are rumours of a Hyde Park show. The key may be whether they want to add those shows post-Bergen,or pre-July 2 in Germany.Everything points to a late June addition, iirc, that is when Glasto is.So I'm hopeful...
The US dates are a crazy zig zag,and there is speculation that NBA/NHL playoff uncertainties are issues in places like Cleveland Milwaukee, and Detroit-huge Bruce areas...I'm hoping like heck some new dates drop this week, because right now my options are pretty limited, and all of these shows go on sale simultaneously.I'm thinking about going to Penn state, but I just wish Hershey or Pitt were consecutive,so I could work in a couple shows...
Maybe we'll get more info at the SB presser on Thur.Btw,the NFL Network will cover it live on tv at 2 p.Guess it's not to likely he'll announce a 'Roo show at that time, but it would sure make it a lot easier for me to plan my vacation/purchasing schedule.Imo,there have to be more US dates after Europe, too many fan heavy areas are excluded so far.Not even an actual MSG show,so far just Albany and East Rutherford...

Well, unless they add more shows after the Norway shows, there is virtually no question that the band members will be back in the U.S. unless they decide to take personal family trips during that break of a couple of weeks between June 10 and July 2. Bruce even flew back from Europe during a day or two break to visit colleges w/ his son.
If you are going to kiss a musician's butt, I think Bruce is a might fine choice

no dates listed in Tennesse, tickets for the american tour dates go on sale on Feb 2nd, roo lineup comes out Feb3rd/4th hopefully. Tickets for roo will then go on sale probably that saturday or by the next week. Gives enough time for the Bruce tour to sell out and annouce roo after people get tix for the tour.

Ah, perfectly understandable. Bonnaroo is a workout for sure. I hope you have an opportunity to see him this year, be it at Bonnaroo or elsewhere.

I agree they'll be back in the US, I'm just not sure in time for Roo. Phish is playing Knoxville on June 10. Bruce is playing Norway....Thats the day before roo starts. I'm not saying it won't happen, just wouldn't bet the farm on in quite yet..
Edit: O ya, and if I had to kiss a musician's butt, I'm going with Miley Cyrus

Bonnaroo FYI by TNBruceFan on Jan 27, 2009 2:25 pm
A friend of mine who works with a promoter for Bonnaroo says Bruce is still on tap for Sunday Jun 14th. The break in the European leg allows for this possibility. My friend says that a definite line-up will not be announced until all acts are booked, but Bruce is a solid "yes" as of now.
Just an FYI, for a possible ammendment to the current tour.TNBruceFan

My source came from the Bruce camp that why I am so confident in it. This guys source on backstreets claims to come from the AC Superfly promotion team, keep the sources coming because like I said we will have Bruce this year.
anyone think that it's possbile that bruce is playing sun. and phish plays after him? i know they have never went past midnight on sun. but they could if they wanted to. so that would be fri.-? sat.-phish sun.-springsteen/phish
