My intent was only to spread the information that I got from my source in the Bruce camp, I don't know anybody in the AC Superfly camp so I knew it was very crediblle and wanted to spread that information to everybody here on this forum to let you guys know what I know. We will see for sure on tuesday that Bruce is at the farm and I was only trying to let everybody know that ahead of time.
Move over Europe... American festivals are taking a stab at your festivals' legacies. Three bands that one year ago people would have argued that they are too big to ever play a festival (ie. Phish can make their own festival... they don't need Bonnaroo... or Bruce makes as much profit in one show as Bonnaroo does in an entire festival).
although I like Bruce ok I'm less and less psyched that he is now all but definate for this year. Esp. if the Dead is not also on the ticket. I think I'd of prefered another headliner, but most certainly will hit his set unless he conflicts with someone I just love. We will know for sure on Tues. the suspense is growing thicker by the minute...can you feel it infooroosters??

Watching Bruce on Palladia right now...3 hour set from Barcelona and I must say its some pretty good shit!!! Never seen him before but have always wanted to....if his Roo set is anything like this, he will absolutely destroy it!! If you have Palladia i suggest checkin this out and I think he is on pretty much all night.
Bruce described his SB set as what you would see if you were heading to Giants Stadium for a 3 hr show,were repeatedly delayed,and only made the last 12 mins of the show.In other words,a 12 min capsulization of the ESB experience...
I'm hearing 10th Ave for the opener,but obviously stripped down a bit from the version from Giants Stadium in July.Nevertheless....

its hard to establish credibility without a link to a source, otherwise its just hearsay or a rumor. I fully believed in my only source who knows Bruce and his management team so when he gave me the word I came straight here to spread the info. More likely I won't have many leaks in the future from inside sources because thats only 1 of 2 people i know who has any connections to the music industry. Other people know AC Superfly people and get it info from them. However I stood by what I said and believe and come tuesday it will show that all I had was good intentions

I totally did not intend to slight you with my comment, so sorry if it came out that way. Honestly, I thought you established your credibility with your story of how you came to know your source, meeting Bruce, etc. The whole thing rang true to me, and gave credence to my hopes that The Boss would grace us with his presence. I really wanted to believe it, and now that we have a board member like BonnarooDetective, the infamous leaker of the 07 lineup backing up your claim, I'm completely sold! Thanks to both of ya!

Yeah, don't take what I said personally. I found you to be sincere and credible. It's just that 'Roodetec has a rock solid reputation established over a coupl of years.

to henotbusybeingborn and mojoworks, I didn't take any offense in what you guys said, I just agree that its hard to want to believe somebody who just puts a post up, tells his story and says trust me basically, your instincts say question it which is what I would do when somebody does that I just wanted to give everybody all the angles on why I was so confident in it, and that I have no intentions of creating a rumor to let everybody down and then receive a bunch of harrassment from the members of the board. Watch the halftime show tonight and think how great it will be to see the Boss for 3 1/2-4 hours at roo this year.

bruce's performance at half time is exactly why i am still clinging to the hope that he will not be there (as slim a chance as that is) he was absolutely awful....he pretty much made a fool of himself and a mockery of his music
