I'm a little skeptical of them booking a major coup Coachella headliner the following year. Prince playing there last year was a major deal. It becomes less of a deal for Roo if they are trumpeting Coachella's sloppy seconds. (And every article about the lineup will end up mentioning their rival festival -- assuming the rivalry exists at that level and is not just perceived by us message board types.)
That said, I'd be happy to see Prince regardless of the PR hit the festival might take.
Will Bruce be in Europe during Roo? He is headlining Pinkpop festival and according to this page will be in Norway on June 10. Does this make him unlikely for Roo?

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will indeed tour behind their new album, "Working on a Dream," with the first stadium dates announced today for Europe in June and July.
So far, six shows are confirmed, beginning June 2 in Tampere, Finland. The group will also play June 4-5 in Stockholm, June 9-10 in Bergen, Norway, and July 8 in Herning, Denmark. Tickets go on sale Monday (Jan. 26).
Springsteen's reps had been cagey about whether he would tour again this year, on the heels of an extensive run in 2007-2008 in support of the album "Magic." The tour grossed about $232 million worldwide, according to Billboard Boxscore.
The group will headline the Super Bowl XLIII halftime show in Tampa, Fla., on Feb. 1; "Working on a Dream" arrives Jan. 27 from Columbia.

If it's just those confirmed dates, closest being the 9/10, would it still be possible for him to make it back for the weekend? That would be pretty tough.
If it's not him, make it Bob Seger/Silver Bullet, please.

I somehow doubt that Bruce is going to do european dates, come back to the US do Bonnaroo and then fly back to Europe that just doesnt make much sense to me. I had my hopes up that Bruce would be at the Roo but its looking more and more doubtful to me. ):

I'm sure people are waiting to hear a response from me since I started most of this. I still 100% stand by what I said Bruce will play Bonnaroo this year. I contacted my source today and he said his source in the Bruce camp offered up the info that he told me on his own account. So my source didn't even ask him about Bonnaroo, his source told him in casual conversation about upcoming tour. My source knew about the Europe tour and said that Bruce has in the past played a night in Europe then jetted home after the show to play a show the next day in New Jersey many times in the past. He also said Bruce won't stay in Europe for 3-4 weeks in between shows. He also claims that Bruce is Headlining Glastonbury. He did hint at that Bruce might be playing later in the weekend so Bruce might not be the Friday show at Bonnaroo.
