I usually give myself one day a week to eat whatever I want. And by that I mean go out drinking. It's just so hard to not go to a brewery at least once a week.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

When I am on track, I usually do two nights- one night that I can eat whatever for dinner, drinks, and do whatever with friends and then I allow one more night of not too crazy drinking (paired with good food). Right now I am on 4+ nights of booze a week. It's bad!

that's called living life girl lol not "bad"
Ha. I agree, but it's bad for weight loss and bank accounts!

Even after the liver loss weekend in Virginia, I drank... every night? Almost every night?.. since then (besides Monday). It was an especially boozy week and now I'm going to be at it again. I won't be drunk tomorrow, but tomorrow won't be alcohol free either (dad's birthday dinner) aaaaand I hypothetically already have boozy plans for Thursday and Friday.

You say that now but when you're 80 you'll look back and smile at the good times. No one ever looks back and is like "im so happy I didnt eat all that cake" -- NO ONE. Same applies to alcohol.

Ha! After last weekend I said I'm not drinking for a month! But then I came back home as was like....."well I didn't drink any ________ (insert chicago craft beer here) over the weekend." I actually ended up losing .2lbs over that weekend. Maybe drinking 24-7 is what I need in life. Though I started insanity and feel like I'm ready to puke without any alcohol in my system.
Wearing a shirt to work today that I haven't been able to squeeze into in about a year. No more Zoloft and alcohol = skinny Godzilla. Weighing in at the doctor's office today when I go!

I have put on roughly twenty pounds since the last roo. A new job, along with life changes and the like have caused me to get lazy. Im going to invest in a fitbit and get back on an appropriate diet in an attempt to lose fifteen lbs before roo - I appreciate that there is a place for me to come and vent and support others in their conquest! All that in mind, I'm probably still gonna have a glass or two of macallan tonight but I'm on board and enthusiastic to take the weight back off in good fashion!

I am overjoyed with a scale-related-milestone that I hit today. So now I'm 35 pounds down and feeling amazing. I am in complete disbelief that we're doing it, people! Still a long ways to go before I hit my goal weight-- I must keep doing this!!!! Who's with me?!?!?!
Oh my goodness, I'm so incredibly out of shape. I haven't done cardio since last summer, thinking that it wouldn't be terrible for me to just lift...and I played a full-court game of basketball this morning and holy hell, it was painful. Tight chest and all that. I think it's time to start running again.
So, all the weight I've lost until now was from eating better and lifting weights. I broke down and bought the T25 program and have been doing that with a scaled down version of my weight program. I REALLY love it. I can tell a huge difference in 2 weeks already. And I dont care if Shaun T is gay AND married, he is beautiful to look at and I will forever look at him when he tells me to look at him and focus lol

Hahaha. I'm doing insanity and I love how he reminds you to breathe. Because sometimes between wanting to puke and cry from the workout it's nice to have a reminder. I think T25 is next on the list for me.

I think with the T25, eventually I'll get to the insanity but for now... I'm on Alpha week 3 of T25 and I still have to modify most of the time. It's still a good program and the clock with the countdown/what's coming next helps me tons. I always thought it was just people talking up beachbody, but after I bought it, I know what all the fuss is about.
Got my Fitbit this week and so far I like it much better than the other fitness band I had. If anyone wants to add me send me a pm, maybe if we have enough people interested we can start an Inforoo group for challenges if one isn't out there already. Im a little late jumping on the Fitbit train.
I got mine on Friday tooooo! THANK YOU NothingButFlowers!!! I can't wait to start really fiddling with it next week. I blew the 10k goal out of the water yesterday, but I was working at Cheese, so it doesn't really count (and I'll do it again today). It scared the bejeezus out of me when it started buzzing when I hit goal.
I have no idea how to start groups, but feel free to start and add me! I made my account through Facebook, so those of you (alyssa, dreamingtree) that are using Fitbit and linked their accounts- we're already buuddiiiiessss.

That buzzing scared me too the first time! They should really warn you about that. I was anticipating a very low count today because I'm recovering from a night of possibly drinking too much. But, I see your steps restart after midnight, luckily I was dancing and singing karaoke till 3am so I woke up to 3,000 unexpected steps.
I bought a Fitbit as well this week! With trying to quit smoking I wanted to have something that could take my mind off cravings, and being able to knock out 500 steps when I get an urge has been a huge help.

So I succumbed to my old eating ways yesterday at a show and I was so over budget with my daily calorie goal, I woke up really bloated and feeling ashamed that I faltered-- but I've forgiven myself and it's time to move.
On a positive note, I AM WEARING MY BLAM TSHIRT RIGHT NOW! Today, March 22nd 2015 is the very first day I've EVER worn this t-shirt! When friend attended the BLAM event last year when they were giving out the shirts-- he got me the biggest size shirt they had-- but of course did not even come close to fitting. I tried it on today, IT FITS! Finally after like 13 months I get to wear this shirt for the first time.

Awesome job fitting into your BLAM shirt!! It's such a great feeling when something that was too small fits. It really shows your hardwork is paying off.
I've also been pretty off track this weekend with eating, and I feel pretty gross/bloated but tomorrow's a new day.
I love reading this thread! It makes me feel empowered when I am getting a little down and off-track. I am interested to hear about the T25 program. I am thinking of getting it so I can do something at home when I just can't drag the kids to the childcare center at the gym.
i am one million percent an emotional eater. since my dog passed away a few weeks ago, i've been carbing away my sadness. i did get myself back into the gym 5 days a week, but i'm having a hard time getting my eating back on track after all of the mac and cheese and pizza and garbage. i know that fries are only satisfying in the moment and aren't actually making me feel better, but man, salad is just not that appealing sometimes.
