Lost my fitbit again over the weekend, more than likely at the movie theater. Damn thing just kept coming unclipped. I emailed customer service yesterday, started trading emails today, and have a new one being shipped to me free of cost.

I ask because I lost my second one on Thursday The first one I got free through NBF and the second I bought on eBay, so I don't have a real Fitbit receipt. My sister has mentioned getting me a Charge HR as a early birthday present since it has the watch style band versus the little thing that always pops off on me.

Again? Man, you guys are losing these things left and right. So when I bought my charge, I actually meant to buy a chargeHR so I asked for one of them for my bday. (great minds think alike bonzai) If I do get it I'll probably just give this one away to anyone who has a childlike size small wrist like me. I can't believe they have such awesome customer support.

I know it fell off almost every Cheesecake shift because I would put that hand deep into my apron pocket for pens and such. But that was easy to retrieve. Unlike whatever knocked it off the other two (final) times. Multiple times I did find it on the floor next to me chair (at work and at the bar). I never noticed it coming off, but it magically appeared on the floor.

I've started using the exercise tracker with my walk/runs. Keeps up with my pace, and when I see it slipping I pick it up. This has really helped me lately. Had the fucker for 2 years and never knew it could do that.

How long does the battery last? Would I need to charge it at Roo?

Mine lasts about a week and I have it set to "automatically sync" so it's always paired as a Bluetooth device. You can switch it to manual mode for a longer battery life.
I used a Nike Fuelband for a while, but stopped using it after several months. I just didn't want it on my wrist I guess. I just started using it again. It's waterproof as long as you don't submerge it. Nike customer service had to replace the first one I got because it was "sweating". Just some cancer causing battery fluid or something I'm sure. No big deal. The exchange was easy though. The clasp is technically plastic, but it clasps internally with a pushbutton to unclasp it. It's never come close to falling off.
It also charges via USB so if you have a a phone/camera/etc. charger that you are bringing, you could easily slip the fitbit charger in it if you're worried.

Buy a scale! Good job. I could use some of your motivation I have been mentally preparing for Roo Run, but have been feeling defeated that I won't be ready by June. I still can't run the entire three miles without stopping, and I keep finding excuses not to hit the trail.

I don't run. I've tried and failed miserably. My lungs can't handle it for whatever reason, possibly asthma? I will power walk usually...I'm that lady you see power walking around town, minus the coordinating sweat suit.

Sadly I still need to quit smoking cigarettes. I've cut down significantly to about 1-2 cigs per day only, but I still think it impedes on my breathing when I try to run
Edit: disclaimer, 1-2 cigs per day on a normal day. Pay no attention to what you observed at Coachella.
i'm back in the gym today after almost a two week hiatus. it just hit me how close bonnaroo is and how much i don't want to feel gross in summer clothes, so i need to step my game up!
Does anyone know of any free online workout videos? I mean ones that they like?
i think there are a lot of jillian michaels workouts on youtube (30 day shred is my favorite). if you're into yoga, i like erin motz. she has a website and a bunch of stuff on youtube as well. i like pop physique barre workouts too. i have the dvds, but i think they have some online.
