Whycbus I'm not an "old anything " in here or any other thread on this board . I thought I had made that point very clear in earlier writtings on this board . Take the time to read and let me know .
eeuuuuuuuu, nothing personal but the thought of having sex when I'm sweaty and smelly and smelling riper then an avocado makes me giggle. part of the appeal of the roo is I have 4 days and nites to be me without any pomp or circumstance. looking like sex on a stick isn't one of my high priorities. crawling back to my camp site without getting lost...priceless

Gizmo it usually is a classic moment when I crawl into my tent only because i've already knocked it down once tried to set it back up only to give up and just crwal on inside .
So arlenefavreau1 if I happen to crawl by a colorful mound of nylon with bumps I should assume you crawled into your cave for the nite? If I see something that resembles this I would be honored to help you set it back up again. Nothing worse then waking up in a sauna with nylon stuck to your face.

Gizmo that would most definately be apreciated but if we are both in the crawling stage that is when the nylon usually wins . But any and all assistance is more than welcome . Just cought the disco biscuts up here in Burlington Vt on Friday night and for my first biscuts set it kicked a$$ . Right now trying to coordinate with a buddyof mine about seeing U2 in Boston .
One of the radio stations in my area is having a giveaway for a free pair of U2 in boston tickets. I just purchased 2 tixs to see the Decemberist the weekend before Roo to get me psyched to see them the following weekend at Roo.

Pssssst my buddy works for one of the local radio stations and thats how I intend to see the U2 set in boston . The Decmberist should be an enjoyable set . I'll have to try and catch a set if they come anywhere near here .
Your killing me:) Boston is my most favorite city to play in. My BFF daughter is in school up there and I never come away dissatisfied when I pay a visit. You will have an excellent time for sure.(As I sit at my desk and throw darts at a make shift voodoo doll of your avatar.)

As clavin always said of suzy tttthhhpppp I love bean town can't wait for the dead to play in april in Albany though there is nothing I enjoy more than sitting at the state capitol puffin a fatty and listenning to the dead .
I'll be 49 this June and haven't missed Roo yet. I was a little young for woodstock 69 and was always fascinated with it. Bonnaroo has more than fulfilled that yearning void!
THIS. I'm 37, my wife turns 40 in a month (don't tell her I posted that!), and you're only as old as you feel.
[edit] No poop, Meg. I thought it was a new thread. I didn't even pay attention to the dates. whoops.
I guess since we are here I could update - Boz and I are both 40 now - LMAO
Welcome to the 40's guys. 41 here and still have loads of energy and plenty of partiing left in me. Although its not like it was at 25 or even 35......The slow down also has alot to do with having a child.
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."
I think the older folks have the smarts to take it all slow and easy which is the secret to these multi - day parties. This year, my husband will be 50 and I'm not telling my age (tho it's not too far behind).

I totally agree with you about that. One question though - why do people not like to tell their age (women especially)? I just don't get that..... I will be 42 very soon and am totally fine with it. I feel much younger so really why does it matter? It's just a number.

It's nice to know there's someone older than me here. I won't be 49 until July.
Going to 2nd roo this year and can't wait. Over the age to post on here but not brave enough to post my age. Lucky with the genes though(even my mom still gets mistaken for my sister) and only act old when I try real hard. I think roo keeps things in prospective. Maturity is great and all but thinking on simplistic terms can calm the mind.

It does my heart good to see that the "mature" set is going to be so heavily represented at roo . Arlene wont be going with me to roo this year she's got graduation to deal with . So I now know I wont be an "old guy" all alone at roo .

Okay - I'll be 47 at this year's 'Roo. I think women don't like to tell their age because it puts us into a category "box". I feel 30 and hope people think I look it, too!
