Um.... 35+ Try 65+ If you're 35 your parents were likely hippies.
Besides this thread is ageist. I gonna be 33 this year but I'm not grown up enough for your thread. That's not very hippie of you to discriminate like that. Next you'll have a whole forum only for people who have kids AND ARE TAKING THEM TO BONNAROO.

I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."
More like a bunch of 50's to 70's bands. Steppenwolf/dave mason/grand funk etc. But also bands like Marshall Tucker/Joan Jett/Leon Russell.
We had a great time.Very family orientated. It was $70 a ticket including rv space and the kids were free. Only hassle was we were told there would be electricity and of course there was not. It was crazy as everyone was trying to leave the 1st day to buy gas for the gennys.
And all the bands did not get paid. Heart was supposed to close the show and they refused to perform. And many of the bands refused to allow footage for the dvd because they did not get paid.
Some of the troughs in centeroo are from that fest in 99. As well as the robots I think.
I agree, my knees, hips and acid reflux remind me of my physical age but in the recesses of my brain I am still 18. Peter Pan has nothing over me except I can hang a lot longer now. When I was 18 I'd pass out, throw up or just collapse. Now I have the knowledge and experience that lets me enjoy those late nite jams till 4am.
Me too but it is my ankles and hips that remind me. I also agree - as I have gotten older I have learned to pace myself more and can manage to hang a lot longer then in my youth
Yeah... my knees are what remind me of my "real" age. I've always said, "Old is a state of mind. Age is the state of body." ;D
53.My son is 19 and we are volunteering. Somebody said that "Hippy" died at the end of summer of love in '67,I don't know I guess my hippy died ,or went into hibernation for 25 years. I think he's back.
If anyone thinks this would be interesting or if it hasn't been done before: What was the first Multi day music festival you attended? Bull Island SW Indiana 1972
