is there a way to ignore a thread so that when I view the 20 most recent posts I don't see 18 posts from the "Roo Hookup: Mingle if you're single" thread?
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

^^Ignoring users still shows that the person posted, but instead of seeing what they wrote I think you just see a message that you've chosen to ignore that particular person.
Either way that wouldn't solve the problem at hand since areyoukind is looking to ignore whole threads, not necessarily any particular person who posts in those threads
oh the other message board Im on, if you ignore a member you are unable to see their posts or any threads they created. Yes that wouldnt solve the problem

I'm curious as to this also..
I don't want to ignore the users in the spoken threads, that's not it at all-- but I do prefer to view more than one thread when I view the 20 most recent posts. That thread is very active and most of the recent posts are from it..
Something along the lines of the 20 most recently posted in threads instead of individual posts could solve that problem
I was thinking this, if there was a way to restrict the most recent posts to only one from each thread-- so you'd get the 20 most recent posts from all different threads.
I think we still do have the chat, but we can't really force people to use it.
Not as much as enforce (sounds to Cheney) but let people know it is available when there is lengthy ongoing conversations that is of no interest to anyone else but those two or three(personal).
