Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I've always flown in. No need for a car, really, unless that's the only way you can get there. I think the Marriott charges like $28 per day. I love taking the streetcar to City Park. They way back is even more fun!
Just remember to hide your corn. I lost some at the gates on Sunday last year.
I'm sure I'll be very sad on Halloween, not being there. We are doing Jazz Fest 2010, though!
Yeah...unless you HAVE to drive there a car is a complete waste for VooDoo....unless you staying WAAAY the heck out in Lacomb or Westwego or someplace...LOL!
And Bunny don't talk like that yet....remember...this far out from Roo you were saying that there was no way you were coming either...and look at you now! Hee! Never say never....it always comes back to haunt you...sometimes in good ways tho! Hee! ;D

Not to get into a KISS debate, but considering that they hit it big when I was in high school I harbor a special hate for them. I was kind of more a Pink Floyd girl at that point..... And honestly, their music is 100% nuts.
But I can see that it might be fun on Halloween. If I was deaf and blind. Gene Simmons gives me the creeps. He a super creep, super creep, he's super creepy (in my best Rick James voice).
Sadly, I can't go this year and will miss the sight of his nasty tongue.
And all the awesomeness that is Voodoo and NOLA. Everyone have a drink for me at the Absinthe!
I was disgusted in High School by my friends who bought their albums and went to their shows. I feel the same about pro wrestling though and I'll admit I once went to a match with some friends. It was actually kind of fun (thanks to the beer) but I really don't see ever doing it again.
I've seen KISS twice before, and while they aren't exactly the best musicians, they do put on a great show. You gotta look at it as a performance more than anything, I think. I'm looking forward to seeing them on Halloween at VooDoo! I'm just excited about going to NO in general

Contrary to popular opinion, it's OK to have different taste in music! I'm not a hater. And I would not stay away because of a headliner. If that was the case I might never go to roo! ;D
NOLA is very very fun. If Dan ever wins the lottery we are totally going to buy a place there. You will have SUCH a good time!

I got conned into a Nickeback show once.......
DALE!! I hope you're not working during the Brunch?? Be sure to stop by Camp Custie.

Nickleback is one of my son's favorite bands. Where did I go wrong? I downloaded their discography for him and still have it on my hard drive, even though I loathe them.
Hopefully I'll be at Brunch, but really have no idea if my schedule will conflict until Tuesday. Wish me luck. I've heard it may be possible to trade shifts if necessary. I will definitely check out Camp Custie, hopefully Thursday, while I can have a good chance of catching y'all there.
Well, last year Me, Bamabelle, Teine, and Bunny, (am I forgetting anyone? ) plus all the awesome non-inforoo peeps we brought with us all met up and hung out the whole weekend! ;D
The year before that I didn't go, but a similar meetup happened with those who did... and... I've heard the stories...
And THIS year I fully expect it to get bigger and more KICKASS than EVER! ;D
"METALLICA announced in an e-mail blast to its mailing list on Tuesday (June 16) that the band was postponing a concert in Ottawa, Canada, originally scheduled for October 29, to November 3. The reason? According to the e-mail, "the date change is due to a scheduling conflict with a very cool event coming up around that time. We wanted to let you know about the new date in Ottawa [as soon as possible], but we've been sworn to secrecy on all other fronts . . . more details in mid-to-late July."
METALLICA is rumored to be taking part in the 11th annual Voodoo Experience festival in New Orleans, which is scheduled to be held October 30 - November 1 in City Park. This year's Voodoo Experience will feature more than 160 acts playing on eight stages in three performance areas, dubbed Le Ritual, Le Flambeau and Le Carnival. The full lineup is expected to be announced in the coming weeks."
They won me back at the Roo, I wouldn't mind seein'em again
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Looks like I might be missing this The VooDoo funds may have to be used to buy a car. And the lineup rumors are making this all even harder....
Well that sucks Of course, daily transportation needs are MUCH more important than hedonistic music fests when making responsible choices ... ... BUT, there's still over 4 months... never say die!
