Is anyone else registered or even considering the possibility of glastonbury next year?
It definitely has to be planned out in advance, and tickets go on sale next month. I have a friend who was planning on going by herself, but I may join her.
Has anyone here been? If I go, I doubt I can make Bonnaroo next year. I saw one of the tents that MGMT played in and it was about 8x as big as that tent. It seems incredible on every level.

I know that I personally would take a shot at attending Glastonbury once over attending Bonnaroo next year. I mean, not only do the aesthetics of Glastonbury just seem to be incredible, but how many people do you know that get the opportunity to attend a music festival in another continent, much less one the caliber of Glastonbury!
Just be ready for rain... and lots of it!
I wish I could make it, but there's not even any thinking about that for me I'd say. It's definitely on my priority list though of festivals to attend in the next several years though.

I would love to go to this. Always awesome/overwhelming lineups plus 150,000 other festival goers, sounds like the mecca of music festivals to me. Plus just look at this picture.

When I was a teenager growing up in the UK, I always wanted to go but my parents wouldn't let me. Now I am in the US and I am still about as far away from going as I was then It truly is the Mecca of music festivals.

I stand corrected, not sure where i got the idea that tickets went on sale in August. Register now is still a good idea. Last year they had a 50 pound deposit in october and tickets went on sale in February and they sold out 137500 tickets in 2 days before the lineup was released.
You registered and everything this morning? That's awesome! Someday I will make my way to this, but for now I will just have to be content with American festivals.

Air mattresses should still float on top of that.
Its a bitch and a half to plan for glastonbury, but there is still plenty of time.
I have been using the coachella boards since there are a few people going already. They have already booked a room the day before Glastonbury. I think most are now gone. The main issue right now i foresee is getting the supplies upon arrival in London and getting there. After that hopefully spend a week doing stuff in Europe. Still hatching out the plans at the moment. Lots of ideas flying by.
