On my third listen of Go, really enjoying this. Couldn't they just move Jonsi to Saturday, that would solve so many problems.
I guess I'm not really in tune with Coachella's schedule tendencies, but if prior years are any indication, then it seems that the final three acts on the main stage Sunday will be Thom Yorke -> Pavement -> Gorillaz.
Are we thinking Jonsi will be up against any one of these three?

The thinking is that because of Jonsi's elaborate stage setup he would need to be after sunset, which would probably mean going up against Yorke, Pavement Gorillaz.
I'd actually be fine with that schedule if it were true. Sunday is just too jampacked to avoid any conflicts. Not sure I agree with Tiesto AFTER Muse, but who knows, I'm a noob.
Anyways, how do we know that Jonsi has such an elaborate stage setup? I just hadn't heard that anywhere and I feel like he would translate perfectly in the sunset hours.
i really hadnt considered the potential of PIL against other must-see bands for me - was hoping they would end up against some flavor of the month act...
going into coachella, there is no way im missing orbital, FNM, and Gorillaz. 2nd tier "do not miss" acts are Jay Z, LCD, and PIL. other than that, im pretty open.

Missing Fever Ray for Jay-Z would be very foolish. Actually the end of Friday on that is the only really bad conflict with 4 really good things going on at once.

Not sure if this will be at coachella, but the stage setup for Jonsi's tour looks like its going to be pretty elaborate - jonsi.com/news/2010-tour-sneak-preview

I could just camp at the main until after Gorillaz, then head over to Orbital.
no Jonsi? that's a really brutal conflict but since i'm going with the old man we'd probably go to jonsi. i am going with the "see overseas acts first" mentality, so it's really a toss-up for me. i like jonsi's music better than orbital's. i know orbital will be epic though....

I'm thinking about picking up tickets for one of his Toronto shows so it might bust some conflicts. I'd love to see both, but Orbital isn't playing the U.S. anytime soon.
ah when you're right, you're right. orbital have the legend card to play as well. it might be nice to save my jonsi fix until sigur ros is touring again anyways. it's still going to be a tough decision once it comes down to it though...

Just noticed this. Tiesto actually said on twitter how excited he was to play after Muse on the main stage.
