Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
The xx instead of The XX, and maybe Zach Deputy lower. Also I don't think Grace Potter will be back.
Also a suggestion for the poster, it seemed like last year the poster was along the same design as the website. So the Bonnaroo on the top of the page now will probably be the one used on the poster.
yea the biggest area where i will be off is probably the amount of bands i have returning from last year. yeasayer, grizzly bear, phoenix, etc. probably won't be back so soon. but i'm going on a hunch that there will be another one like mgmt. so it will probably be one of those bands, but not all of them.
So Porcupine Tree just announced that the second leg of their US tour will start with an unnamed US festival appearance. Currently their first listed tour date is on 20.Apr in Dallas, TX. Could they be at Coachella? I want them fer 'Roo!

if the first leg starts apr. 20. the 2nd leg might start at roo. maybe they will be playing in the metal tent with opeth, gwar, baroness and between the buried and me.
Wishful thinkin' but their "second" leg of their USA tour is what starts in April. The "first" leg consisted of some dates in I think Oct/Nov to consist with their record release date. At least this is how I've understood it on the un-official P.Tree forum.

oh oh. must be coachella then. just saw these dates. it has to be coachella unless there is some other festival around that time. can't believe they are playing amos' in charlotte. that place is a dump.

hey so i just read on daft punk's old manager's blog that the beastie boys will be at coachella for 2010? that's way the fuck outta my way and i wont be going, but ....for those of you who are, if this isn't like, known yet.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
the rumored/expected lineup that CoS has listed is painfully amazing.
If this is true I hope Bonnaroo is in full force for competition because the rumors for Coachella kill the rumors we have at Bonnaroo.
I wish flying out to Palm Springs and figuring out a ride to the Polo Fields were easier and cheaper because I would love to go there again. Not a big fan of the shorter sets but Coachella is amazingly beautiful with breathtaking art and mountains surrounding it.

Anyone from here going?
Coach is killing Roo right now, but that's only because we really don't know what Roo is gonna do.
I thought last years Coach lineup was amzing (McCartney, My Bloody Valentine, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Brian Jonestown Massacre) but Roo was still far and away the best lineup.
It's not gonna hurt Coachella to have someone other than the Killers headline as well.
Gorrilaz, Jay Z, Muse, Beastie Boys, Faith No More, etc. means Roo is gonna have to unload something at least equal to last year cause in my opinion Coach is gonna be better than 09.

i agree with this. roo has a lot more to offer in terms of 'activties' (comedy, parades, batting cages/arcades, etc.) but i usually end up spending most of my time at shows. so in the end, the music is the draw for me.
unfortunately, i am a teacher and am therefore limited to summer festivals pretty much. i might be able to go coachella in a few years if i have more sick days saved up.
Uh oh... Led Zeppelin is one of Coachella's newest friends on MySpace! We all know about the Bonnaroo 09 Myspace leak; though I doubt LZ is playing Coach (especially with all of the already rumored acts)

^^^You didn't mention the other artists that article names: Pavement, Phoenix, Thom Yorke, The Specials, and (I think perhaps the most impressive) Sly & The Family Stone.
That is a pretty nice lineup, so far, save for Gorillaz headlining... I hope that doesn't knock out allot of those artists for Roo (especially Hova, Sly, Yorke, and Pavement).
Gary Numan Faith No More Devo John Waters ??? (Pink Flamingos John Waters?) Orbital De La Soul Z Trip Porcupine Tree Echo and The Bunnymen Portugal The Man PUBLIC FUCKING IMAGE LTD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jesus, Coachella.... that is one phat ass line up, all around. Jesus... I want to go now.
