Why are there question marks after Thom Yorke? ???
Maybe it's that band of his with Flea.
From that same LA Times article:
"Oh, and what about those question marks on Sunday's text in the concert poster below? No, that isn't saving a spot for a Smiths reunion or U2 debut on the Coachella stage, it's the way that Yorke presents himself as a solo star, the marquee at his Orpheum concert had the same punctuational flourish."

thank you Steve. I knew if anyone could clear that up, it would be you ;D
holy shit, that is an amazing lineup. i am going to explore how i can go for not crazy money - 2 of my all time favorite bands ever (FnM and Orbital), plus thom yorke and the gorillaz, Jay Z and PIL!!!
Does anyone know what's up with the question marks after Thom Yorke's name? Does that mean they're going to add an act for that spot?
Just a few of the cross-overs I really hope to see: Yo La Tengo Faith No More Devo Echo and the Bunnymen The Dead Weather Porcupine Tree De La Soul LCD Soundsystem Sly and the Family Stone Mayer Hawthorne Erol Alkan She & Him Public Image Ltd. Them Crooked Vultures
and all three headliners, among many others. I will get there one year *sigh*

I'm 100% going to this. If anyone else is going let me know and we can maybe camp together.
Also does Yorke just play his solo stuff or does he toss in a random couple Radiohead songs?
He's only played three shows with the ???? band, but the only recorded Radiohead song he played was Paperbag Writer, which despite being a HTTT b-side is pretty much Thom solo. But he did some new songs by himself that are speculated to be new Radiohead songs. I can up one of the shows if y'all want. Damn it Coachella
my gf's family has a house in palm springs, so we can stay with them for free. all it would cost is a flight (no idea right now), car rental, and tickets.
uh, plus some money for whatever party favors i can find
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
Friday: Baroness, Deer Tick, Echo and the Bunnymen, Grizzly Bear, LCD Soundsystem, Public Image Ltd., She and Him, The Avett Brothers, Dillenger Escape Plan, Vampire Weekend, Yeasayer
Saturday: Devo, Dirty Projectors, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Faith No More, Flying Lotus, Les Claypool, Mew, Old Crow Medicine Show, Porcupine Tree, Portugal. The Man, Steel Train
Sunday: De La Soul, Deerhunter, Gil Scott-Heron, Gorillaz, King Kahn and The Shrines, Mayer Hawthorne, Pavement, Sly and the Family Stone, Sunny Day Real Estate, Yo La Tengo
These past few years I have been really impressed with the line-up and would love to go one of these years. Really jealous of alot of the artist they got this year and hopefully a handful come to Bonnaroo. (Mayer Hawthorne and Baroness are supposively confirmed for both)
Though it is weird that Coachella is booking these "new breed" artists that you would see at Bonnaroo like, Les Claypool, The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Steel Train, and Sly and The Family Stone.

I wish this was in the middle of the country every year. Seems unlikely now that Gorillaz will be at roo, which sucks. Public Image Ltd is an awesome act too, but I think bonnaroo can top this lineup, not much of a holy shit factor other than the Gorillaz. Last year NIN and David Byrne on the roo lineup was holy shit, not to mention two nights of Phish.
Of the bands on the lineup whom I haven't seen (and I've seen many), these are the only ones that interest me:
Fever Ray White Rabbits Camera Obscura Old Crow Medicine Show Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros Band of Skulls Beach House Pavement Sly and the Family Stone
It's nice to see so many people psyched (instead of b*tching about) this lineup, though!
This lineup is the TIT$ (seriously? you can't type t i t s on here?). Not saying Bonnaroo can't beat it, but they definitely have their work cut out for them. If I'm not impressed come early Feb, I'm going west.
