Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
There is a chance we could be going to this fest again this year. It's another 500 miles further than Roo, but a good line up could swing it. I like the temps there. I love Roo, but the heat just makes it a living hell for me and the lady.
Possibles for this year, The Arcade Fire, Band of Horses, the Lips. I would sell my left nut for Radiohead. You only need one!
Either way, not buying the VIP package if we go. Was totally not worth it.
Well, they came out with details on the VIP packages for this year. Other than in and out access to the main event area, I see nothing to make me buy it again. Take a look at how Roo does the camping for VIPs. They know what they are doing. They want you to pay 1000 extra dollars for viewing areas next to the stages and lounges that are empty. Just get premiere camping and regular tickets, way better use of your money. Oh, and the food and movies they promise don't exist. Also the two showers for about 15000 people, nice. Lucky its beautiful there and the music is good.

last year i was very impressed with sasquatch's lineup, but was too close to bonnaroo time-wise to go...
but with the disappointment of 'roo's initial lineup, come the 16th i may be buying tickets for sasquatch... and make my first trip to canada before or after
If the Sasquatch lineup is comparable to the roo lineup, we will be heading to roo. No sense in driving 1000 more miles for the same bands. Besides, I miss the farm. If I see a Radiohead or Arcade Fire, we are heading to the big hairy wookie.
I'd post pics of the stages, but I can't get the damn things to load! Anyways there is the Big Amphitheater stage, the Wookie stage, which is the size of the Which stage at Roo and the Yeti stage, which is the smallest. It's the size of the sonic stage at roo, but with more viewing room. There also is the big comedy and dance tent. The real problem is there is not much to do except people watch in between shows. There is no shopping, or art to look at. They need to provide something for down time between shows. Food and Drinks are WAY! expensive also. Alcohol policies there are a bit nuts. Just be warned about the beverage police. Under age drinkers are taken away to jail, no ifs ands or butts. You will never see a more beautiful venue anywhere. With a few bits of fine tuning, they could have the perfect festival. Lineup in 2 days!!!!
me and my fiance are already discussing travel plans, and decided to make the 40 hour drive as opposed to flying...
seems like there will be much to see between mississippi and washington...
just can't wait to see the lineup late TONIGHT!

Man Bonnaroo really dropped the ball on Massive Attack for a late night, they would have been perfect. I can understand letting MMJ wait another year, but MA would have been fantastic.
I mean, Jay-Z is the second thing I like most about the Bonnaroo lineup, but you have to wonder if they couldn't have gotten Massive Attack and MMJ for roughly the same price.
Imagine a lineup if the top of the bill looked like this instead of what it is now:
Neil Young & Crazy Horse * Dave Matthews Band * My Morning Jacket* Stevie Wonder * Massive Attack * Tenacious D * Weezer * The Flaming Lips performing Dark Side of the Moon featuring Stardeath and White Dwarfs

Wow. I don't have anything to add to the discussion. But Wow.
Great job Saquatch.
For hypothetical circumstances, Which would be easier to fly in to? Spokane or Seattle?
We flew into Spokane. Easy driving, no mountains or heavy traffic. The Spokane airport is right off the main interstate, with a Wal-mart just two miles away. It's not as beautiful to drive but much less of a hassle.
We are driving this year. It cost as much to get my gear there by plane as it did for me to fly there.
Oh, buy your supplies in Spokane. Supplies and beer are very limited near the festival itself. Found out the hard way.

Another suggestion, the camping at the venue is nothing to write home about. We might stay at the Wildhorse campground, which is a few miles outside the festival area. Cleaner, good showers, good food, ice sales. quiet hours. Just something to think about. Also, don't go VIP. Nothing like Roo's deal. I wasted an extra 1000 on nothing!
