I thought that Death Magnetic was awesome. I still believe too, that Metallica is one of the best bands that you can see live. Such pros. I was also hoping for some additions today, or some kind of news from Bonnaroo, seeing as how today was pay-day for Payment Plan ticket buyers. No news though. Hopefully within the next two weeks. We can pretty much bet on it being on a Tuesday right?
I grew up worshipping Rock and Roll like a religion. I know its shortcomings and strengths but have loved it unconditionally all the same since I was eight-years old. I ran away and joined the circus and honestly, I'm still as obsessed as I was as a boy. I'm not a kid anymore but I still remember how it felt and it doesn't really feel all that different to me now.
Yeah supposedly the sound on the CDs there were some complaints. Apparently digital downloads and Guitar Hero sounded better. I did Vinyl and Digital download which i have not noticed any sound problems.
Some complaints? Death Magnetic has become the definition of the "Loudness War" (google it) leading to crappy-sounding recordings. So much so that the engineer himself said he was embarrassed to have his name associated with the project and Metallica fans collected thousands of signatures on a petition to remaster the album.
I believe digital downloads have the same problem as CDs, but you're right that many fans ripped the Guitar Hero versions. GH mixes their own stuff and apparently those versions sounded miles better.

So I was kind of suspicious looking at the twitter page, because he only has 200 followers. But I saw that AC Ent official twitter was following him. Good find.
He references one of my favorite rather unheralded Neil songs a few posts back "I'm the Ocean" I almost want to get my hopes up... but I'm really trying not to. Still seems fishy to me.
I'd love a Neil add, more than almost anything. Even so, people will still bitch about the line up.
I'm hope one of the cafe acts will be Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons. I hung out with a couple of them after a show last week and they said they had a "semi-confirmation" for roo - I know they want to do it. Really good band and super nice people.
