Anyone on here a Reds fan? I ask because I wonder how you haven't gone crazy with Dusty as your manager. Reds down 3-0 bottom of first, no outs, and he bunts the guy on second over to third. If he ever manages the Brewers for whatever reason I think I'd abandon them as my team.
Also, does anyone else think it's incredibly stupid when fans throw back home runs by visiting teams? It's fine at Wrigley cause it started there, but anywhere else is just dumb. I'm embarrassed every time it happens at Miller Park.
I wouldn't say incredibly stupid unless it was a meaningful homerun. I've never caught an opposing HR at Turner Field, but I'd likely throw it back or give it to someone else unless it was worth something.
Just flipped on the Nats game. Surprised by the score, not what I expected. Our pitching is solid but our hitting is absent. Normally its the opposite. We still got one more inning to overcome the 2-0 deficit. Come on Nats.
Anyone going to the first home Braves game next Friday? I will be there. Just look for the extremely drunk guy repeatedly chanting "F*** the Phillies!" clap clap clap clap clap "Let's go Braves!" clap clap clap clap clap

great phillies game, right, cracka a$$ cracka? I watched up until the 8th inning on tv then had to pick someone up from the airport and i was going nuts in my car listening to it on the radio. A hell of an opening day for John Mayberry Jr. He could challenge Francisco and Brown for the RF spot, especially after Francisco's ugly error. Baez also pitched extremely well to not allow the Astros to extend their lead.

Halladay pitched a good game. Houston hitters made him work though. Looking forward to Cliff Lee's start tonite. So glad baseball is back!
Glad we got rid of Ankiel. He does have a nice arm, though.
I'm glad you got rid of Ankiel also. Considering he gained 3 RBIs for the Nats today, including that beautiful 2 run HR in the third.
Pitching so far has looked pretty solid and the rubber game against the Braves tomorrow should continue that. Jordan Zimmerman is a young kid who's looked very good in spring training. Should be a good matchup of youth vs. experience against Tim Hudson. Let's go Nats.
Yea I can't imagine what NE talk radio is like right now.
Or now, with Lackey giving up nine runs in less than four innings.
I'm a Yankee fan so I have to follow the Sox too and I gotta admit that Lackey is a bust of Yankee proportions. It really sucks to pick up (and pay) what you think will be an ace and find out he can't pitch in the pressure of the AL East. He's Whitson and Pavano rolled into one.
Well, it's only one game into this year - against Texas, which has a great lineup.
I'm not worried about Lackey yet. Hopefully he'll get his shit together and be worth the ungodly pay check Theo gave him. Otherwise I know why his shirt cost seven bucks at Bob's.
Great start by our rookie Beachy. 7ks and only 1 run to a very powerful Brewers lineup.
Hopefully Kimbrel can close this game out.
Lucky for you, he'll face McGehee-SS who shouldn't be starting-Morgan. And if he can get past that murderer's row, he gets probably the 60th best catcher in baseball.

It's pretty unfair the amount of young pitching talent the Braves have. Minor would be on a major league rotations, kind of surprised he didn't make the team out of camp. He came up in rumors when the Brewers were maybe going to trade Corey Hart last summer, and also in the offseason for Prince, but the Braves didn't want to give him up .
I'm going to the game Wednesday though so I'll get to see him pitch. Unfortunately the Brewers starter that day is TBA, should be interesting.

Night games are the best.
...and the media always comes at philly fans for being boisterous...smh. I'll boo and yell at opposing players and umps till I lose my voice, but before you let the obscenities fly remember that families bring their kids to ballgames more than any other sport. be wild, be rowdy, support your team, but watch the vulgarities man
